    GETTING IT GOOD AND HARD

A brief look at 100 years of Fiscal Folly; and a nice confirmation of CtC scholarship using four-generation-old data from the IRS itself.

Over the course of the last 100 years, Americans have foolishly indulged the dangerous conceit of imagining themselves able to discern angels from devils, and that angels are to be found amongst their own ranks. This has led to a laxness in our proper jealous regard for our liberties and the rule of law, and deeply-misplaced confidence in the good-faith and competence of public officials.

We should have known better, and at one time we did. “Let us hear no more of faith in the goodness of men in high office, but bind them down by the chains of the Constitution!” thundered Jefferson, and for a long, prosperous time, that’s how we rolled.

Jefferson’s attitude served us very well indeed for 125 years or so. But early in the last century we got so rich, and so full of ourselves, and so misled by pretentious official pomposities that we let slip the chains. As H. L. Mencken warned us at the time, we have since gotten the government we deserved for our foolishness, and we have gotten it good and hard.

LET’S LOOK AT JUST ONE OF THE PRICES WE HAVE PAID FOR BEING TAKEN IN BY “GOOD GOVERNMENT” EYEWASH…

In Tom Woods Jr.’s recently-published ‘Back on the Road to Serfdom’ (ISI, 2010), PhD historian Brian Domitrovic contributes an essay titled ‘Economic Policy and the Road to Serfdom: The Watershed of 1913’. In it, Domitrovic points out that except for a couple of years afflicted by abortive governmental interferences in the natural economy (involving the clearing of the accumulated ill-effect of “greenback” fiat currency circulated during Lincoln’s War, and a flirtation with the monetization of silver in the 1890s), American economic growth during the 50 years prior to 1913 AVERAGED a muscular, extraordinarily prosperous 5% PER YEAR!

What’s more, neither unemployment nor inflation existed during this period at all.

In 1913, everything changed. The engine of monetary debasement known as the Federal Reserve was successfully fastened upon the body politic that year. Injections of fiat currency and manipulated interest rates began poisoning the economy almost immediately.

That same year, the income tax was revived after a 40-year slumber. Unlike the Fed, the income tax began its new run benignly, functioning as designed and capturing for public benefit a portion of the profits enjoyed by those using public resources to make their money.

Within just over a quarter-century however, subtleties of its design had allowed revenue-hungry governments to begin mis-applying the tax. By 1940, the siphoning of increasingly large volumes of wealth out of the hands of independent producers and its reallocation for political and private benefit by means of that mis-application had commenced.

The assault on the natural economy through both the Federal Reserve and the misapplication of the “income tax” have continued ever since, and here’s the bill: Since 1913 the average annual growth of the economy has limped along at a relatively anemic 3.26%. Domitrovic calculates that the differential of 1.74% from the 5% growth rate produced by the unimpeded natural economy of the prior 50 years resulted in a loss to American well-being of a staggering 4/5ths of the wealth we ought to be enjoying right now.

That is, had we not drunk the Kool-Aid and allowed the gimmicking of the economy by the political class, we would be 500% better off than we now are. As much as we would like to imagine ourselves as affluent, we are living in the basement of the mansion we could have and should have built during the last 95 years.

But even that 500% is just a hint of what we’ve lost by letting busybodies, cronyism and corruption pollute and distort our natural economy. That 500% is a static calculation– pure math. Added to it would be some incalculable enhancements because the diminished output since 1913 was not just a suppression of the natural economy; it was a distortion of economic activity, manipulated by a corrupt political class for its own benefit and that of its cronies.

Had the economy been allowed to continue in its natural state without the afflictions of the Federal Reserve and the misapplied “income tax”, economic activity would have remained pure and productive. We would have enjoyed massive compounded growth above and beyond the merely predictable. The 20th Century saw a staggeringly-rapid and bountiful increase in technical knowledge. Productivity would have reached heights of which we cannot even dream had that knowledge been efficiently coupled with capital, innovative thinking and entrepreneurial spirit focused on market-satisfying purposes, rather than being skewed by self-interested manipulations of those in control of state violence.

Instead, we have had the steady bleeding of the productive economy by currency debasement. Worse, because its inflationary effect is not immediately felt, the first recipients of the debased currency enjoy a higher value from it than all currency soon will have. This gives those recipients an illusory appearance of economic virtue (as though they had served the market well and been rewarded accordingly), and an unfounded strength in resource acquisition.

The first of these illegitimate effects influences the assumptions and decision-making of other economic actors (with false information leading to bad decisions). The second allows the early recipients to absorb and sequester more capital resources than their actual productivity and attunement to the satisfaction of market interests merits. Since these early recipients are inevitably government-favored enterprises selected for purely political reasons, the dynamics of the process steadily erodes the economy from efficiency to inefficiency.

Then, in addition to the currency-debasement affliction, we have also been suffering the gimmicking of the tax structure to reward political allies of those in power, and to punish and hinder their competitors. This results in less productive economic actors dominating the market and subjects us all to higher prices and less growth and opportunity.

Further, the relative paucity of our wealth accumulation during the past century has not only failed to make us rich, but it has lagged far behind the outright destructive effects of the ongoing government meddling responsible for that poor performance. This has tragically resulted in America going from being the most prosperous society in human history when the government interference with the natural economy began to now being the biggest aggregate debtor in human history.

A NICE HIGHLIGHTING OF THE TRUTH ABOUT THE TAX BY IRS DATA

Those inclined to read Domitrovic’s otherwise excellent treatise should note that while his conclusions about the “income tax” as a destructive force are sound enough as regards the last 70 years or so, he mistakenly extends that period all the way back to 1913. This is an error resulting from a basic and still all-too-common misunderstanding of the nature of the tax not yet corrected by Domitrovic’s discovery of CtC scholarship.

Citing data from the Tax Foundation, and referring in particular to the period from 1913 to 1920, Domitrovic observes that “the new income tax system hit persons making as little as $1,000 a year ($11,000 in today’s terms).” (‘Back on the Road to Serfdom’, p. 8.) Erroneously imagining that the “making as little as $1,000” referred to everyone earning that amount from any gainful activity rather than only those receiving that much from federally-connected activities, Domitrovic concludes that the tax was therefore widespread in its reach and impact.

Certainly, if Domitrovic’s belief that “income” means “all that comes in” in the context of the tax was correct, his conclusion that a rate structure reaching everyone with $1,000 in “income” ($11,000 today) meant that a majority of the adult working population– indeed, an overwhelming majority– would have been subject to the tax. After all, even non-union factory workers earned half again as much during this period.

But Domitrovic’s conclusion is a classic case of GIGO– Garbage In, Garbage Out– because his misunderstanding of the tax skews him into error. The fact is, not even a fifth of the gainfully-employed heads-of-household population of America was affected by the tax in any way until as late as 1940.

This is because Domitrovic’s misunderstanding of the tax was not suffered by the American population in 1913, or for many years afterward. More than a quarter-century had to pass from that year’s revival of the 1862 tax before fading memories of the purpose and character of the 16th Amendment and a sustained propaganda campaign encouraging worship of the state had produced enough American ignorance about the subject for Domitrovic’s assumptions about its widespread impact to become sound.

Census and IRS data reveal that between 1913 and 1939, and even while as little as $1,000 of “income” was taxed, there wasn’t a single year in which more than 17.3% of non-dependent, gainfully-employed, earnings-capturing Americans filed a tax return. The average percentage per year for that whole twenty-seven years– which included the “Roaring Twenties”, by the way– was a mere 9.36% (see http://emlab.berkele…-saezOU04US.pdf).

Starting around 1940 the “income tax” DID become a major contributor to the economic dysfunction plaguing the last 95 years, and grew as a destructive force like Topsy from that point forward. In that year, misunderstanding led to so many Americans coming to believe themselves subject to the tax that the percentage of earners filing returns jumped to 25.7. In 1941, the figure was 45%. By 1947, the figure was 91.7%, and it has stayed in that neighborhood ever since.

Prior to the 1940s, our grandparents and great-grandparents practiced a more educated and jealous regard for their liberties and the rule of law. But over the years those wanting to live by the “political means” rather than by the more-demanding “economic means” misled enough Americans into the same error about the nature of the tax that produces Domitrovic’s mistake today.

Ultimately, the folks at whose privileged gains the tax is really directed succeeded in turning it into a scourge against all the rest of us, just by dumbing us down on this subject. The benign income tax became recast as the evil vampire that has preyed upon us all good and hard ever since.

    ***

By the way, educated eyes can find shiny nuggets underscoring the misunderstanding suffered by most present-day Americans concerning the limits of federal authority. A fellow prisoner here who has recently become CtC-educated, and thus sensitive to things which most readers would just pass over without comprehension like a phrase in a foreign language, furnishes us with a great example of how evidence to this effect can be found all around by those with eyes to see it.

This good man was pleased to show me the following passage from a book he happened to be reading titled, ‘Titanic’s Last Secrets’, by Brad Matsen (Hachette Book Group, USA, 2008). On page 210, working from notes previously published in ‘The Titanic- End of a Dream’ by Wyn Craig Wade in 1979 (pp. 134-135), concerning efforts by Senator William Alden Smith and Sheriff Joseph Bayliss to investigate the cause of the tragedy:

“The following morning, Bayliss served the subpoenas while Smith grappled with the implications of a report that had reached him at breakfast. The British consul in New York was at that moment on a train to Washington to protest the Senate’s treatment of the crew of Titanic and White Star officials. The IMM [International Mercantile Marine, a J.P. Morgan trust] lawyers had spent the better part of the night on the phone with senators and congressmen friendly to J.P. Morgan, arguing that a federal committee could not legally subpoena foreigners in the sovereign state of New York.

    …

“Smith didn’t want to risk letting Morgan swing enough weight to quash his subpoenas in New York, so he decided to go back to Washington and continue his hearings on federal territory.”

No changes in Constitutional delegations of jurisdiction or authority to the federal government have occurred since Senator Smith understood those limits, just as no change in the limits of federal taxing authority, and the nature of the income tax, have occurred since our grandparents time. Today, the notion of limits recognized by Smith and Grandpa alike seem alien to their less well-educated (or deliberately mis-educated) descendants.

But this change in perception is not because those limits have changed. It’s just because we’re only now waking up from our decades-long nap, during which the servants have re-decorated to suit themselves, knowing we weren’t watching. The house still belongs to us, though. We just have to come fully awake, shake out the cobwebs, and set things back to rights.

Dad explains below his thoughts concerning the Catch-22 of rights both provided and taken away (without due process) by the same government.

If–and only if–you feel led, please consider helping us petition the Supreme Court to overcome the obstacles the 10th Circuit has placed before us.

    =====================================================

Lindsey Springer here wishing each of you encouragement and blessings from our creator of the Heavens and the Earth in the name of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Many today struggle with seeing into the political realm and discerning truth from propaganda. It is difficult to imagine, with as many people paying attention to government these days, how the truth could so easliy be displaced by feel-good statements.

One of Government’s assets is to enter the world of business in such a way not known to its competition. This powerful weapon is the notion Government business is too big to fail. Loaning money and receiving usery interest can only be accomplished by business or commerce.

If you ever are allowed to study ponzi schemes, you will look prophetic to those willing to listen. The Supreme Court has made descriptive references to the tax system as a “scheme”. See Grosso v. U.S. 390 U.S. 62, 65 (1968). Governments are not to be in business, but rather they prescribe the rules by which businesses interact with the public. Governments are to enforce those rules, but how does that work when Government is your competitor and the one who enforces the rules?

Governments are prohibited from depriving you of life, liberty, and property without due process of law. This process is the procedure due you and me by Government before the taking is to be Constitutionally authorized. Government does not like due process. In fact, the United States does not defend your right to due process. How can they be the party seeking to deprive you of your life, liberty, and property, and at the same time be seen as the one to defend your due process rights? Saying Government is to secure your liberty only works if you are willing to challenge Government when it does not!

Those in Washington and abroad know they have out-schemed you and me, and their only hope is you and I do not catch them at their scheme in a major public way. Imagine a place where Government and religion are to be separate and distinct? This means Government cannot regulate any religion, and religion cannot regulate government. This was enshrined in the Bill of Rights in the Constitution by our Founders due to the King being head of Government and the Church. He was above the people, below God, and below the law.

Yet, Currently, the Secretary of the Treasury regulates all religous organizations by determining who receives money tax-free and who does not. See 26 U.S.C. Section 501. See Treasury Regulation 26 CFR 1.501. If you read 26 U.S.C. Section 102 you would know that all “gifts” are excluded from taxation by the recipient. Gifts are “income” but just not “gross income”. Only adjusted “gross income” is taxed by the Secretary of the Treasury. Certainly you have heard that when an exempt organization enters the political world and endorses one side or another, they lose their tax exempt status.

This makes no sense. If the organization was into politics it receives “contributions” tax free. So why are relgous organizations regulated differently? It would be like a politician who gives a religious speech but loses political exemption from taxes, owing taxes on the campaign contributions received.

The Power to Tax is the Power to destroy. Congress has already said interest and penalties owed are treated as taxes. I have watched the United State put Kent Hovind and his wife in Prison for tax evasion, which was based upon a theory he did not withhold Social Security from Missionaries’ Pay or match their Social Security mandates. The United States gave him TEN YEARS. To add to the United States regulation of religion, which is clearly prohibited by the FIRST, FIFTH, NINTH, AND TENTH AMENDMENTS, America is now being presented with the truth about Social Security, yet men and women who wish to be President suggest Social Security–with a few changes–will remain for decades to come. THAT IS JUST HOGWASH, AND DON’T YOU BELIEVE IT.

Government borrowed in August, 2011 to pay benefits owed our Citizens and the discussion now is Government needs to raise taxes to pay down the national debt. Isn’t the money we just borrowed to pay Social Security benefits part of the same National debt? OF COURSE IT IS!

America, you are being asked to pay more taxes to pay down the National Debt which was recently increased to pay Social Security, Medicare, and Medicade benefits. This is all just accounting voodoo and proves America is being held under Spiritual hostage. On top of taking money from the current workforce to pay current beneficiaries, and using that money to run National Government’s Ponzi Scheme, which includes the need to borrow over ONE TRILLION DOLLARS A YEAR not “to default” or “keep Government running”, how can anyone say Social Security (with its unfunded mandates in the Tens of Trillions of Dollars) “good to at least 2032”?

The laywers, judges, Republicans and Democrats, should be thankful Governor Perry kept his comments about Social Security limited to a comarable ponzi scheme. Social Security as a mandate is as unconstitutional as forcing someone to sign a contract and pay for health insurance. Both lead to prison for non compliance, and both are a usurpation of the limited enumerated powers of the United States Government.

What possibly would be the power in the Constitution to enforce a Social Security exaction from each Citizen of the 50 Union States, respectively? It’s not a 16th Amendment income tax. Its not an excise tax on something you purchased under Article I, Section 8, Cl. 1. Its not some product shipped in interstate commerce under Article I, Section 8, Cl. 3. The same scam the United States developed to violate the First, Fifth, Ninth and Tenth Amendments, regarding PAY OR PRISION with Health Care, is the same PAY OR PRISION behind Social Security. Taking care of the elderly is a biblical and moral issue BUT NOT WITHIN ANY POWER OF THE UNITED STATES.

The short of it is that the United States usurped its authority and entered the private business of selling insurance back in the late 1930s, and they led everyone to believe they had to participate, knowing full well they could never pay the returns promised to beneficiaries (Trust Accounts have beneficiaries). This may have been a well played and thought too-big-to-fail ponzi scheme, but Social Security is a ponzi scheme, plain and simple. Madoff’s investors liked his deal until he was no longer able to pay the returns he recorded for each victim in their in-house account. Enron, labeled a scam by the United States Government, borrowed its off-book debt balance accounting scheme from the United States Government.

So your question to the politicians is this:

How is Social Security, Medicare, and Medicade, good until 2032 if we had to borrow to pay the promised benefits due in August, 2011?

Since Social Security, Medicare, and Medicade are all benefits being paid with borrowed money, wouldn’t that mean that any tax increase would really be America’s having a tax imposed on them, in addition to current Social Security withholdings, to pay the benefits Social Security can no longer pay?

From here you can take the ball and run with it. Whatever you do, keep the ponzi scheme truth label alive and watch those who participated in this ponzi scam come out into the light for all to see. If we plan to correct the system, we must identify our failures. Until we recognize Social Security and Insurance Mandates at a national level, with their penalty of fines and imprisonment for willful lack of particpation, violate the principal of Federalism expressed by the Tenth Amendment, America’s only hope is its actual doom. That is not an America we learned about in School.

September 20, 2011 at 6:21 pm in reply to: Milton Friedman on the Gold Standard

    SOURCE: http://www.kitco.com…/sep132011.html

    _________

    The Fate of the Fed

I am for a transition from a fiat standard to a gold standard over time. I make the case for this transition to be accomplished within the Federal Reserve System, not through its outright elimination. A gold standard will only return with fiscal responsibility, not before. This is the job of Congress, not the Fed. The Fed can be an important part of this transition in one respect. It can concentrate on stabilizing the money supply as defined by M2, and monitoring systemic concerns.

The tolerance for the Federal Reserve, a fiat system, and the power of the government to control money and interest rates is waning across the board as we appear to be moving toward a de facto gold standard. Individuals, institutions, and governments, are moving to acquire gold for financial protection, as an alternative reserve asset, and a means of preserving wealth. There is growing suspicion about the Fed’s power to create money. Money creation is no longer in vogue.

Milton Friedman himself, an advocate of a fiat standard, was for the abolition of the Board of Governors at the Fed. He stated many times that he would have no problem replacing the FRB with a computer. The key is to move away from men controlling the money supply and interest rates, to a system where the market controls these things.

There is a lot of anti-Fed talk now-a-days; speculation, and articles being written about the Fed’s “real motives.” Along with growing suspicion is a growing movement to abolish the Fed. I think this is premature. The Fed may eventually be abolished, but much work needs to be done prior any thought of this actually happening. But the movement persists. Is the Fed actually a conspiracy of bankers who plan to inflate away debt, or artificially stimulate the economy in an attempt to create the illusion of prosperity? Are they only interested in power and control, as we are increasingly hearing?

What would be their motive? Board members make less money than they can in the private sector, so if they want riches they are in the wrong profession. They are overseen by Congress and have very little power as individuals except to try to create price stability. If they do not achieve this stability, they are crucified by the populace, and will eventually be fired. Fed Chairmen are ridiculed and abused by politicians and pundits alike, in fact I can’t think of one who hasn’t been. So, power is not their motive. An easy life is not their motive. And getting rich is not their motive. Why then would they want to create anything less than what their job dictates—price stability? Who needs the abuse that would come with anything less?

It is true that Fed Chairmen and Governors make mistakes, and perhaps this is the best argument to end the Fed. But as it stands the mistakes made are at their own peril; just look at what is going on around the world with literal riots in the streets over inflation. Even the Communist Party of China fears the populace response to progressive inflation. Why would the Fed want to bring this upon themselves?

The Federal Reserve Board, which is responsible for making monetary decisions is made up of both democrats and republicans. They are from every walk of life, and from diverse regions. It is not an ideological board; it is a diverse one, that dissents from within at times. The board is instead of politically driven, mandate driven, charged with preserving the value of money. Since the eighties, inflation has not been the thing that most Americans have high on their list to do away with. This is mainly due to the fact that inflation rates have fallen since then from 14% rates to at time deflationary rates. Violate the mandate of price stability and Congress, the public, or both, will come down hard on the FRB. So I ask again, what is the upside for these individuals to inflate intentionally?

Most criticism directed at the Fed, its Chairmen, or the Board of Governors, is misplaced. If anything, it is Fed policy that needs to be criticized, not those who in good faith, serve their country in a tough capacity. And considering the difficult task they are given, isn’t it natural that they would make some mistakes? Verbally pistol-whipping the Fed will do nothing to bring monetary stability to our nation or the world.

Regardless, it is time to change the mandate of the Fed to one mandate of simply controlling inflation, and as Friedman said, we don’t need a FRB for that. It is time to debate and resolve whether we as a nation want a Fed that controls the money supply and acts as a bank of last resort—or not. Our decision will determine the future of the Federal Reserve and perhaps the future of the financial system and economy we live in. Should money continue to be controlled by politicians and their appointees? Or is it simply too important to be left in government hands? Only after answering these tough questions will we truly determine what kind of future monetary system we will have in America.

September 19, 2011 at 6:53 pm in reply to: Oscar Stilley and Lindsey Springer Indicted

Dad’s warnings of the importance of the upcoming election and how it relates to failing government programs:

    =====================================================

Lindsey Springer here hoping as you contemplate your vote for Congress and the President in the coming months you consider voting for your future liberties instead of your past bad investments in Government.

Recently Governor Perry has came under fire for his stance on abolishing the Secretary of the Treasury’s Internal Revenue Service (“IRS”) and the realities of Social Security. Perry’s position is premised upon the theory you should go by the economic substance and not what label the promoter attaches to the investment vehicle. Perry is on record as referring to the Social Security System as a simple Ponzi scheme. For those of you unaware of Mr. Ponzi and his purported criminal scheme to defraud, I will share some key points.

Ponzi’s purported theory of promise was a future return on investments he sold to investors and then paid those returns with money he obtained from new investors–not generating money from actual investments, but rather simply raising money from the word of mouth and promotion earlier investors had received from him and his efforts.

Examples are clarifying on this subject. If a promoter offers 25% return on investment vehicles he sells in $ 1 million dollar packages, then this means yearly $ 1 Million is to receive $ 250,000 anually. If you invest $ 1 Million and it is a scam, the promoter will be able to pay you for 4 years with your money but then he runs out of money and still owes you the $ 1 Million Dollars you invested. The $ 250,000 for 4 years was your “return on the investment” and not the “return of your investment.” You see how one strategically placed letter beginning with “o” that being “on” verses “of” changes the entire meaning in a contract or allegation.

To defeat this problem the promoter points to the success with his first victim and gathers many more takes on the promise they will receive the same as the first investor. Millions come in and this allows the promoter to service the debt he owes with the money he receives from new investors. The problem begins when less money comes in than is owed to those previous investors. Eventually the money runs out so seeing this train wreck coming the promoter prompts (or lulls) investors who are now owed to reinvest their money for even more return. This may work for a while but when an investor calls the promoter to account, the scheme is uncovered and the future investors are no more.

Obviously when People get spooked they demand withdrawal and when they are told “no”, they spread this word as fast if not faster than the word spreading that convinced them to invest with the promoter. This is an a typical story of a ponzi scheme.

Social Security investment is much worse than an a typical Ponzi scheme because such Government Business and investment has no government to police it but itself. In 1950, for every recipient of Social Security benefits, 18 new investors were taking the risk. Today, for every recipient there are just 3 new investors. The interesting thing about this scheme is how the promoter, the United States, never has to return the investment, when, for instance, the investor dies.

This fact may be the lone distinction that has allowd Social Security to make it as long as it has without detection. What should alarm you is when the promoter of the scheme changes its agreement and you have no legal recourse. Examples of these changes include adjusting for inflation or moving the age you are to receive a return on your investment from 62 to 67 or even 70. We’re getting punished for living longer.

The U.S. benefits by moving the return date as close to statistical death as they can to never have to pay out. This futher hides the scheme to defraud. But that is not the real alarm that is sounding with Social Security. The Media says Social Security is good to at least the year 2032, but needs adjustment. This is a typical statement a promoter of a ponzi scheme would make as he convinces his investors the system is sound. If he does not, there will be a run on his scheme by investors. In the case of Social Security the run will be the new investors will begin to seek relief from any mandatory application.

Had Congress not raised the debt ceiling in August, 2011, no monthly returns or checks could be made. Remember, the President will need to decide what bills to pay and which ones to defer? Reportedly their are 65 million investors being paid currently on a monthly basis. Without trillions borrowed there is no more Social Security. What would be the asset people who loan the United States money consider to be the collateral? You and me–that’s who. A modern day type of involuntary servitude or slavery.

Ponzi did not borrow from banks to pay returns owed. That is what makes Social Security a ponzi scheme soon to be replaced as the Social Security Scheme. The only asset is forcing people to invest. When government goes into business and fails, involuntary servitude to pay that debt is the only result. So when you hear or read attacks being directed at Governor Perry’s position on Social Security or the IRS, lableing it a Ponzi scheme, just remember what the Government alleged Mr. Madoff did.

To add to this, forcing people to sign insurance contracts or go to jail is just more expected Ponzi conduct. Thank God for the Tenth Amendment (Ten Commandments First). Another issue the media seems upset about with Perry–he just received a huge 9 to 0 endorsement from the Supreme Court in Bond v. U.S. 564 U.S. __, (2011).

In short, the Social Security system, enforced by the Secretary of the Treasury’s regulatory created agency IRS, is not only a Ponzi scheme, but a broke one. Most Ponzi schemes do not get to the point they run out of money before they are shut down by Governments. In this case, it will take the people of the Tenth Amendment, who happen to be defrauded investors of the Social Security (insecurity) Investment scheme to exercise their “shareholder” vote and throw any elected office holder back to private life for being unwilling to change the entire mess they were elected to change.

When government goes into business and adopts a never-too-big-to-fail theory, no matter what the cost, the result of this propaganda is that one day, out of the blue, instead of moving the date of return or the adjustments for inflation, the letter in the mail will not contain a check or any electronic deposit.

Most Ponzi victims see nothing or their investment because, as Social Security’s lock box was never actually locked, so to the money in a Ponzi scheme is never used for its intended purpose.
