Irwin Schiff is a great man, and he has indeed tried to help the American people. I just hope his efforts weren't in vein. Can they jail everyone? I don't think so. But they'll either jail us or maybe put a hit out on us. That's just how they operate.

Nah, they don't have to put ALL of us in prison. But instead, they have done and are doing exactly what I predicted they would do back in the 1990s, the corrupt IRS and DOJ have gone after the high value targets who are in the public eye.
On one level that strategy makes sense from their perspective, but the problem is that it too is fraught with risk (i.e. Joe Banister's victory, Vernice Kuglin's victory, Llyod Long's victory, etc) of creating ink (i.e. free publicity for the Cause) that no doubt drives new people to search out the Truth and locate websites such as http://www.famguardian.org and http://www.sedm.org, etc.
The IRS has targeted and will continue to target the American Citizens whom they believe are the leaders of the Tax Honesty Movement. The idea being that if they imprison the “early adopters and leaders”, if you will, that it would have a deleterious impact on recruitment efforts to educate folks and get them to realize that they are in fact and in law, truly non-taxpayers. And, the IRS must have figured that by prosecuting the more visible leaders it will scare taxpayers into not wanting to escape from the IRS's stable of docile taxpayers.
Make no mistake, they are desperate too, as evidenced by the proposed Bill in Congress that is stuck in Committee, which proposes abolishing the IRS. And yes, even President Bush's Tax Reform Panel and so-called national sales tax had its genesis in the early successses of the Tax Honesty Movement.
They are groping for answers because every objective assessment appears to indicate that the fraud being perpetrated by the IRS and US Government upon the American People is more and more getting the exposure that it deserves.
As the USA public debt grows larger and larger, and the interest payments put a squeeze on entitlement transfers and together, they both squeeze out discretionary spending, pressure will mount until the system comes crashing down. Watch for China to start dumping US T-Bills and redploying into gold, metals and Euros, as the trip wire for this crash. Mark my words.
Ironically, the success of the THM may in fact be a causal factor in the demise of the USA as a great nation. Once we achieve a critical mass of non-taxpayers and get taxpayers to convert over to being non-taxpayers, assuming that we will not be able to get the corrupt politicians out of office peacefully, the international bankers will begin calling in loans to USG and this will drive up interest rates and will weaken America economically.
And then the corrupt Fed will manufacture inflation to try and penalize and control the non-taxpayers, and the wealth of America Citizens will be depleted and stolen by the bankers once again, circa 1929 to 1940.
Speaking hypothetcially, I predict that before the year 2020, the USG will once again orchestrate an attack on American soil as they did on 9/11, but the next time they will do so with a “dirty bomb” and they will blame crazy Muslims, this will give the USG pretext to further kill Muslims. Or maybe America will have an attack on either the food chain/water supply, or there will be a major event in the pharmaceutical industry — the result being that millions of senior Citizens will be murdered by a “factory mistake/pill mixup.” The VIOXX debalcle was just the start. Think how much money the government will save by not having to pay social security transfer payments.
The script is written folks.
Notice too, the feeble and fumbling handling of the Iranian nuclear situation. Make no mistake, the USG wants Iran to develop a nuclear capability or at least continue trying, so the USA can attack Iran too. How do I know this?
Because the USG has repeatedly said they DO NOT WANT a nuclear Iran. Now, we all know that the USG is an epic liar. So, following that logic, when the USG wants people to believe one thing, you can bet that the Truth is the exact opposite of what the USG publicly asserts.
If you know someone or some government is an epic liar, it is quite easy to discern the Truth about darn near anything, just listen to what they say and do, and the Truth is generally the oppsosite. If they want you to believe one thing, they will try and spin the matter to get you to suypport them. Just look at how the DOJ and IRS publicly lie about income tax matters, as just one good example.
I tested this theory years ago when I was involved in a legal dispute and often dealt with opposing counsel. I often found out the answers I needed just by talking to the guy and asking him questions. He almost always lied about everything, and I knew it. The key is that you have to figure out which questions to ask and in what order.
Last night I saw a shopping channel selling a 3 piece, 1 ounce USA gold coins for, get this $8999.95 + S + H.
Hmmmmm.

1. While the 16th Amendment wasn't fully/legally ratified, it's been over 80+ years and we've all be believing that paying taxes is the LAW.. but many of us beg-to-differ.
2. The so-called laws that prove that paying taxes is the law, have been disputed and many have won…… but much more are sitting in prison and not much of anything to do about it is being done. . .

[post=”3187″][/post]I beg to differ on points 2 and 3. The great Irwin Schiff fought valiently, albeit, he made a number of strategic and tactical blunders, but still, he fought very hard and showed real courage aganst the very corrupt IRS and DOJ attorneys.
Your assertion that “not much of anything to do about it is being done”, falls far from the mark. One only need to study the Hanson case file to see the untruth in your statement.
Further, many of us spend countless hours every single day, educating folks, speaking to people, researching and writing about these subjects, and then publishing our work and making it available for free.
If people are simply too lazy or too stupid to search out the Truth, then they deserve to be enslaved by the IRS and US Government. Simple as that.
One of the problems that we are up against is that Americans by and large, are docile and have very little real courage. Not all of us mind you, but far too many of “We the People” are sheep when it comes to challenging the IRS and US Government on matters of taxation. But rest assured there is a cadres of fine folks who are a-fix-in to change all that. But it is going to take time.
The docile American society got like this by design, by the propaganda war machine that is run by the IRS, in close cooperation with the corrupt federal judiciary and the equally corrupt US Dept of Justice attorneys, both of whom routinely lie in court every single day and whose unlawful and unethical actions not only shock the conscience, but go far beyond the pale.
Regarding point #3, all you need do is read the case file our own own Mr. C. Hansen, to see and hear how to properly defend yourself against the tyranny that is the corrupt IRS, corrupt DOJ, and corrupt federal judiciary.
Also, the Murphy case in the US Court of Appeals, that was decided August 22, 2006 is yet one more example where Americans are pushing back and winning. There, the Court declared a provision of the IRC unconstitutional, and they ruled that income is not everything that comes in. This was yet another huge victory for the Tax Honesty Movement. You should read their opinion.
Checkers, your defeatist attitude and tone about taxation matters is precisely what the Tax Honesty Movement does not need. We have victories all the time, and they come one person at a time. People have to get off their butt and stand up for their fundamental Rights. No one is going to swoop in and automatically hand you your Rights. You have to learn some law and fight for them!!
And one has to fight to continually preserve their Rights because all governments in America purposefully and intentionally seek to destroy the Constitutional and unalienable Rights of American Citizens. The Family Guardian Fellowship is doing everything that it can within the law, to help folks get educated.

But I think, indeed, I know, that Prof. Fetzer is wrong with respect to his interpretation of Mineta's testimomy.
Fetzer asserted that Mineta heard a young aide in the White House Bunker, ask VP Cheyney, “Sir, do the orders still stand?” That part certainly could be true.
However, Fetzer insisted that the aide was referring to the order to NOT shoot down the Boeing 757 plane that was allegedly on its way to the Penatgon.
This interpretation by Prof. Fetzer can not be true and is not true, because based on all the evidence that I have seen, no Boeing 757 plane crashed into the Pentagon on 9/11.
So the “orders” referred to by the young White House aide were related to something else, and not to shooting down the alleged Boeing 757 heading towards the Pentagon.
Perhaps the “orders” were related to the decision to detonate the pre-placed explosives inside WTC #1 & 2.
Or maybe they were related to the order to have the remote controlled fighter jet loaded with munitions, continue on course to crash into the Pentagon.
Hmmmm.
One thing is clear, the evidence proves conclusively that on 9/11, America was intentionally attacked from within by a corrupt cabal of US Government employees whose evil and sinister deeds go unreported by the mainstream media.
So it is hardly surprising that the US Congress stepped forth immediately and allocated billions of $$$ in hush money to compensate the victim's families, no doubt to convince them to not file lawsuits and subject US Government officials to the legal discovery process.
The US Government is a disgrace.

The lead post by cansouth is so incredibly fatuous and it is simply prepostrous on so many different levels.

Well, I think you are on to something.
I have read some very disturbing stuff in the Congressional Record regarding America's gold supplies.
You should read The Creature From Jekyll Island” for additional insight into the criminal enterprise that is the Federal Reserve System.
BTW, the only thing that is propping up the American currency, is the confidence that people have in it and in our political system.
Once that confidence is shaken to the core, you will see capital flight away from US $$ and into metals and Euros and objects de art.

Nahh, I am not suggesting it is unconstitutional at all, but merely stating that since the gold fringe is not in 4 USC, then in civil society, there is no justification for it, unless the President is present.

I especially agree with the fact that the USG, not the USA, mind you, has been “policing” the world without lawful authority. And this has weakened the USA by ruining alliances and adding trillions to our public debt.
The Federal Government was not established to spread liberty and freedom beyond America's borders and there is no lawful reason why America's Citizens have had to pay trillions of dollars to, ahem, spread freedom and liberty abroad. Truth be told, by the looks of things, and given the high usage of Depleted uranium munitions in Iraq and Afghanistan, it hardly looks like we are spreading anything good, that mnuch is certain.
You all should google “depleted uraniun” and see what you come up with.

I understand that the IRS is supposedly investigating about 40 Churches for possibly using the pulpit to make political advocacy sermons and the like.
If the churches applied for and were granted IRC 501 [ c ] 3 tax exempt status, well then, as they say, when you lie down with a dog, expect to wake up with fleas.
The churches have no one to blame but themselves. You can bet that many of the African American and Southern Baptist Churches in the South, strongly advocated President Clinton's election in the 1990s.
How many times do you think Jesse “Hey, pay me an extortion fee or I will lead a protest” Jackson, gave a sermon bemoaning the Republican Party and the societal ills of conservative politics? And what about the Rev. Al “Where's the TV camera” Sharpton, and all of his sermons. The IRS should investigate these guys too. Fair is fair.
As an aside, what a joke it was to see Rev. Al Sharpton on stage with 11 other Democratic Presidential hopefuls, pretending as if he had any chance in the world of ever being elected President. It is all about inclusivity when it comes to the corrupt Democratic Party. Rev. Al would have at least garnered the gay vote.
Likewise, many conservative “Churches” gave sermons in 1991, 1992, 1993, and 1994, encouraging folks to vote for GW Bush.
Organized religion is America is nothing short of a national disgrace because evil abounds within.
Icheck, sir, only the U.S. Congress has the constitutional authority to coin money. Thus, and the Federal Reserve Act of 1913, which essentially amounted to a delegation by Congress of one of its Constitutional powers, is void ab initio.
All that said, I know you are only joking and speaking hypothetically, when you stated, and I quote, “. . .I could use my own equipment and print money and charge the government nothing at all.. just supply me with the ink and paper.” The Family Guardian Fellowship does not endorse or advocate unlawful activity of any kind, and counterfeiting US currency is unlawful, as I am sure you already are aware.

The gold fringe indicates that it is a military flag, and such a flag should only be carried by US Army Regiment or in the presence of the Commander in Chief.
The True USA Flag is described in 4 USC, and no mention is made of gold fringe.
I have plenty of cites, but not with me at present, save this one from memory,
34 Op. Atty. Gen. 483 and 485 (May 15, 1925). As I recall, the Attorney General has declared that the placing of the gold fringe is not controlled by statute, and the fringe is added at the discretion of the Commander in Chief. Also, he cited Army Regulation, I think it was either 250-10 or 260-10 or 270-10, I forget. It was one of them.
From research that I did years ago, many state statutes make great accomodation for the existence and presence of a gold fringe flag during public meetings and in public buildings. For example, in Pennsylvania, according to state law, at all public meetings, the US flag must be displayed. Yet the statute goes on to say that a gold fringed flag is okay too, because it sorta looks like a US Flag and a reasonable person might assume it is a US flag. Similar language appears in West's Ann.Cal.Mil. & Vet. Code (2001), ? 611 [ b ] and [ c ]. Check it out and verify it.
According to California law, the board of supervisors of each county are required to purchase U.S. flags for display in the courtrooms. Obviously, they repeatedly screw up and instead purchase gold fringed military flags. I wonder why they keep making that same mistake year after year after year? Hmmmmm.
See also Act of April 4, 1818, chapter 34 (3 Stat. 415), reenacted as sections 1791 and 1792 of the Revised Statutes of the United States. The Revised Statutes were published, I believe, in 1874 or thereabouts.

Hey, if you want to see something disturbing, or at least startling, check out the new DS-11 and DS-82 Passport applications, which you can google and then print the pdf.
On page 3 of 4, in the section titled “Paperwork Reduction Act Statement”, it says, “You are not required to provide the information requested on this form unless the form displays a currently valid OMB number [note, it does not SAY OMB control number]. We try to create forms and instructions that can be easily understood. Often this is difficult to do because our citizenship laws are very complex…”
In all my years I have never read a US Government prepared form in which the government was straining so hard and complained to the reader, that “our laws are very complex”.
Simply unbelievable. What possibly could have been the motivation of the US Government lawyers in drafting that particular sentence? My sense is that they are trying to discourage potential applicants to want to learn exactly what America's Citizenship laws really are.
I have read through all of the material dealing with Citizenship and cited on the FamGuardian website, and the purposefully deceptive and misleading Citizenship stuff did not fool me.
Know this, when the U.S Government wishes to deceive the public, i.e. American Citizens and U.S. citizens alike, they always resort to obtusely worded prima facies “laws” and regulations and intentionally obfuscate to confuse the readers of same.
Always.
So when you see something published by the federal government and it is unclearly written, that should serve as your intellectual trip wire that they are trying to deceive you and that you need to dig deeper to find the Truth.
That said, we are making very good progress on other fronts.
To wit, the passport application, on page 2 of 4, in the section titled Proof of Identity”, it says:
“…IF YOU CANNOT PROVIDE DOCUMENT EVIDENCE OF IDENTITY as stated above, you must appear with an IDENTIFYING WITNESS who is a U.S. citizen, non U.S. citizen national, or permanent resident alien who has known you for at least 2 years. . .”
This reference to non U.S. citizen nationals is arguably the single best evidence that the US Government is listening to all of the learned Citizens who have been writing affidavits to the U.S. State Department, IRS, and other US Government agencies, and going on the Record and declaring and defining their Citizenship status as a non U.S. citizen national.
Then of course there is the “Privacy Act Statement” on page 4, which, STRANGELY, DOES NOT CITE THE Privacy Act in 5 U.S.C.
It does cite 8 USC, which is not positive law. However, it does NOT cite any sections of the U.S. Statutes at Large, which are positive law. Hmmmmm.

Nearly all organized Churches in America have sold their soul to the IRS and the US Government and the best symbol of this sell out is the placement of a red, white, and blue gold fringed flag on or to the right of the church altars. I have yet to go in a a church and see Old Glory, it is always the Military flag.
The USG dangles the IRC 501 (c ) (3) tax exempt status and, pardon the pun, “lords” it over the churches, to get them to obey IRS commands.
A ministry or a church that does not apply for the 501 c -3 status from the IRS, is free to speak out and oppose any public official.
