I appreciate the punctual and very detailed response to the questions that I had posted recently. I read your responses soon after you had posted them, but due to the burdens and responsibilities of life, I am just now getting a chance to reply.I will read chapters 4 through 6 of 'The Great IRS Hoax' book. I have already read the introduction (over 100 pages) and realized it is a goldmine of information. Currently I am reading S. Jackson's book, 'Assumption of Liablity', which is a shorter version of the income tax subject. It will give me a quicker overview of the tax subject. I would then like to read the entire 'Great IRS Hoax' book. After all, since you went to all of the trouble to research the subject, write the complete book, and then make the entire book available on the internet (with free access at that), the least I can do is take the time to absorb this valuable information that you have provided, to such an important subject. Thanks very much. The fact is, I have been finding that there is much information available on the income tax, as well as other very important related subjects, through many sources and various locations on the internet. There are certain key names, and websites, though, that keep showing up throughout this community. This lets me know that I am on the right track, as well as allows me to know who the leaders of this movement are, and that this movement has become organized. That is very good!

Concerning Ed Rivera, I just yesterday learned that he will be one of the scheduled witnesses in the Dick Simkanin income tax trial. I learned this through an email and the http://www.freedomabovefortune.com website. It appears that Ed Rivera is still alive and kicking!

Thanks again, Author #2 and Bing, for your replies to my post, and for your involvement in this important movement that is taking place. I will continue to study the information provided on this website, along with the books mentioned earlier. And then, I need to take some Action!

I found the replies concerning what had happened to Ed Rivera interesting. Actually, I found this website in the last few days in my search for more information about the truth on paying income taxes. I watched the video “HOW TO KEEP 100% OF YOUR EARNINGS ” a couple of times, got inspired,and wanted to know more, so I decided to check out the websites that were shown on the video. The first website that I went to was Mr. Riveras'. I was saddened to find that there was a permanent injunction against Ed Rivera and his website, and that the only thing listed on his website is a 22 page copy of the injunction. That really sparked my curiosity and lead me to this Discussion Forum for the first time to see if there was any info. here concerning what had happened to Ed Rivera. I found here that someone had just posted the same question that I had, concerning Mr. Rivera the day before. So, thank you very much for answering this post Bing, and Author #2.

However, all of this also sparks other questions in my mind that now need answering, especially since all of this is relatively new to me:

(1) Has Ed Rivera been arrested for some kind of a supposed crime, or has he been merely shut down from selling his anti-income tax information products and services? Has he lost his attorneys' license?

(2) Just exactly what does a 'Permanent Injunction' mean?

(3) Does the fact that they (The IRS) have been able to shut Mr. Rivera down, mean that they have ways of stopping, or going after, anyone who follows Mr. Rivera's advice or of any of the other information concerning the stopping of paying income taxes found on this website, even if that person is opting out of the system as lawfully as they know how? In other words, Is the IRS able to get their way on American Citizens through some kind of illegal means that they are managing to get away with?

The subject of the fact that Americans have been lied to and been deceived by the American government for something like 90 years, concerning the paying of income taxes, and have on the most part gotten away with it, is an amazing subject in the first place. And the fact that we are having to even discuss this subject is almost unbelievable. This is awesome!

My first reaction to what I found had happened to Ed Rivera was a certain amount of a sort of fear. But, I have also already learned and realized that the main weapons that the IRS tries to use against American Citizens is intimidation and fear. And those only works against us if we let them! I think that there is some of that (or maybe a lot of that) going on here concerning Ed Riveras' situation. What
