FedexOffice (formerly Kinkos) and Staples offer binding services…see this URL…

My choice is the book bind with a clear cover.

Thanks for the quick response. I did indeed use this form. I might be misunderstanding its use. The post office here says they no longer have a notary on duty. So I've been thrown for a loop there.

The way I used this before was just having the bank teller notarize everything I sign in the documents, make copies and then have another person at the bank sign as the mailer, put everything in the envelopes and then mailed it myself.

I understand it now that I should just sign all the documents, have them notarized; have the mailer sign the certificate of service, inspect contents, and have their signature notarized on the certificate of service; then make copies of everything, mail the copies of the documents and certificate of service certified mail return reciept but not restricted…essentially just addressed to the persons office so that someone can sign for them. Please correct me if I am wrong here. It seems the return reciept may actually be uneccessary. I only need proof that I sent it to the place where the addressee could recieve it, right?

I'm kind of interested now what is to become of the mail I sent certified and restricted. I think sending restricted was my main mistake. It says it is coming back to me, I doubt a refund is involved. It's just a bit odd to me that this would be returned, maybe the addressee refused it or was on vacation.

Any ideas for a Postal Annex that has both persons on duty? Maybe FedEx/Kinkos? The UPS Stores do not send certified mail or have a notary. Pretty sure that if I can find a place with both parties on duty this will get taken care of properly. Thanks again.

I pay the Notary $10 for the Notary signature and Notary stamp + $10 for the postage + $10 for the Notary to mail the package. Everytime it cost me $30 to Mail Process Serve paperwork. I use a Notary, Postal Annex, that has UPS, DHL, USPS, and other services. I have all of my paperwork ready, so that when I come in the Postal Annex, the notary only has to; view my identification, fill out the form, make a copy, fill out the notary journal record, and I keep the orignial notarized document, and put the copy of the notarized document in the packet and scan the original for the future. I do one mailing at a time, to keep it simple. Multiple mailings sometimes could be confusing with many documents on the counter at one time. I always use the Certificate/Proof/Affidavit of Service Form # 01.002 which is Useful to provide court admissible evidence of what you mailed or served and when you mailed it. I never use the return receipt green card, only the certified mail numbers that are attached to the package by the Notary/Mailer. I also write the certified mail numbers on the Certificate/Proof/Affidavit of Service or type on the document prior to printing the Certificate/Proof/

Affidavit of Service document and the mailing. After 10 mailings, I understood the process.

Thank You! I do get it! I knew that the letter was routine. I also knew that I could sue them. I did read the documents. I am well aware of the game. I just was shocked after thinking sovereign people have been submitting these documents that it wouldn't be as difficult for them to recognize that they must allow people to resign the SSA. I absolutely planned on sending them another letter. I just wanted to know what was the next step because I don't want to make any wrong moves. I certainly don't like the idea of suing anyone, but I understand that is an option. I had no plans to give up. Thanks again!

Update? I am trying to eliminate my SSN also and this is most confusing and overwhelming…the SEDM.org instructions are not clear, they mention things like “attach your cover letter..” with no previous mention of this cover letter…

    Mark

I believe the cover letter is the following document:

    http://sedm.org/Forms/AvoidingFranch/SSTrustIndenture.pdf

On page 2 of “Resignation of Compelled Social Security Trustee”, Form Instructions, see:

3.3.3. Fill in the return address and date on the cover letter with yours.

3.3.4. Fill in the name at the end of the cover letter.

The cover letter also requres to submit as; Enclosure (5) SSA Form SS-5 (amendment to original application)

The instructions state the SS-5 is included in the Form 06.002 http://sedm.org/Forms/AvoidingFranch/SSTrustIndenture.pdf

However, the only Amended SS-5, I locateded (Not included in Form 06.002 ) is Form 06.031 http://sedm.org/Forms/Emancipation/SSA-SS-5.pdf which states:

This form is used to update an existing Social Security NUMIDENT record to correct the citizenship status and indicate INELIGIBILITY for the program.

What are your thoughts on this form http://sedm.org/Forms/Emancipation/SSA-SS-5.pdf 06.031 ?
