It appears the Obama youth, like the Hitler Younger, will be sent to deal with such honorable men and women. Obama's plans for mandatory volunteers seems aimed in this direction. Additionally, the Boyscouts of America (NY Times), CittyYear seem to be practicing toward this end.
Moreover, when considering legislation which disarms vets without due process, a doctor's statement is good enough; the recent MIAC report (police should harass people who quote the Constitution, Ron Paul, didn't vote Obama), home grown terrorist legislation, 2nd Amendment attacks (no guns, no ammo), anti-speech (hate speech) legislation under consideration, it is rather alarming.
Now you can get on a no-fly list, now there are three bills to strip the people of their guns. One of the latest is 5/13/2009 Gun-grabber Rep. Carolyn McCarthy Introduces “No Fly, No Buy Act” , this is a secret list, there is no appeal!

This is a pretty good article:
Quote:By Chuck BaldwinMay 12, 2009
NewsWithViews.com
First, it was a Missouri Analysis and Information Center (MIAC) report; then it was a Department of Homeland Security (DHS) report; now it is a New York congressman's bill. Each of these items, taken on their own, is problematic enough; taken together they portend “a clear and present danger” to the liberties of the American people. It is getting very serious now.
As readers may recall, the MIAC report profiled certain people as being potential violence-prone “militia members”: including people who supported Presidential candidates Ron Paul, Bob Barr, and myself. In addition, anyone who opposed one or more of the following were also included in the list: the New World Order, the U.N., gun control, the violation of Posse Comitatus, the Federal Reserve, the Income Tax, the Ammunition Accountability Act, a possible Constitutional Convention, the North American Union, the Universal Service Program, Radio Frequency Identification (RFID), abortion on demand, or illegal immigration.
The MIAC report prompted a firestorm of protest, and was eventually rescinded, with the man responsible for its distribution being dismissed from his position. The DHS report profiled many of the same people included in the MIAC report, and added returning Iraq and Afghanistan war veterans as potentially dangerous “extremists.”
As I have said before, it is very likely that when all of the opinions and views of the above lists are counted, 75% or more of the American people would be included. Yet, these government reports would have law enforcement personnel to believe we are all dangerous extremists that need to be watched and guarded against. If this was not bad enough, a New York congressman has introduced a bill in the House of Representatives to deny Second Amendment rights to everyone listed above.
According to World Net Daily, May 9, 2009, “A new gun law being considered in Congress, if aligned with Department of Homeland Security memos labeling everyday Americans a potential 'threats,' could potentially deny firearms to pro-lifers, gun-rights advocates, tax protesters, animal rights activists, and a host of others–any already on the expansive DHS watch list for potential 'extremism.'
“Rep. Peter King, R-N.Y., has sponsored H.R. 2159, the Denying Firearms and Explosives to Dangerous Terrorists Act of 2009, which permits the attorney general to deny transfer of a firearm to any 'known or suspected dangerous terrorist.' The bill requires only that the potential firearm transferee is 'appropriately suspected' of preparing for a terrorist act and that the attorney general 'has a reasonable belief' that the gun might be used in connection with terrorism.
“Gun rights advocates, however, object to the bill's language, arguing that it enables the federal government to suspend a person's Second Amendment rights without any trial or legal proof and only upon suspicion of being 'dangerous.'”
WND quotes Gun Owners of America Executive Director Larry Pratt as saying, “By [DHS] standards, I'm one of [DHS Secretary] Janet Napolitano's terrorists. This bill would enable the attorney general to put all of the people who voted against Obama on no-gun lists, because according to the DHS, they're all potential terrorists. Actually, we could rename this bill the Janet Napolitano Frenzied Fantasy Implementation Act of 2009.”
Pratt was also quoted as saying, “Unbeknownst to us, some bureaucrat in the bowels of democracy can put your name on a list, and your Second Amendment rights are toast.” He went on to say, “This such an anti-American bill, this is something King George III would have done.”
Now that DHS has established both a list and a lexicon for “extremists,” it looks to Congress to confer upon it police-state-style powers through which these individuals may be disarmed and eventually done away with. Rep. Peter King is accommodating this goal with H.R. 2159.
Let me ask a reasonable question: how long does anyone think it would be, after being profiled by DHS and denied the lawful purchase of firearms, that those same people would be subjected to gun confiscation? And how long do you think it would be before DHS began profiling more and more groups of people, thus subjecting them to gun confiscation?
This was exactly the strategy employed by Adolf Hitler. The Jews were the first people denied their civil rights–especially the right to own and possess firearms. Of course, after disarming Jews, the rest of the German citizenry was likewise disarmed. And we all know where that led.
I'm not sure how many of the American people realize that it was the attempted confiscation of the colonialists' cache of arms in Concord, Massachusetts, that started America's War for Independence. Yes, my friends, it was attempted gun confiscation that triggered (pun intended) the “shot heard 'round the world.” And now it would appear that, once again, a central government is on the verge of trying to deny the American people their right to keep and bear arms.
I am told that as of 2004, 50% of the adults in the United States own one or more firearms, totaling some 270 million privately owned firearms nationwide. I would venture to say that the vast majority of these gun owners would find themselves matching the DHS profile of a potential “extremist.” I wonder how many gun owners realize the way they are now being targeted by their government, and just how serious–and how close–the threat of gun confiscation has become?
If one doubts the intention of the elitists in government today to deny the American people their right to keep and bear arms, consider what former Secretary of State Henry Kissinger is purported to have said just a couple of weeks ago. Kissinger attended a high-level meeting with Russian President Medvedev that also included former Secretaries of State James Baker and George Shultz; former Secretary of Defense William Perry; and former Senator Sam Nunn. Included in the discussions was Kissinger's assertion that the American people were now ready to accept a “New Global Order.” He is also reported to have told Medvedev, “By September we'll have confiscated all privately owned guns so it really doesn't matter what we do, we'll still be in charge.” (Even though the national news media has not reported this statement, the Internet is abuzz with Kissinger having said it. Whether Kissinger actually made that statement or not, he, and rest of his ilk, have repeatedly called for a New World Order, in which there will be no constitutional protection for the right to keep and bear arms.)
This leads to a very serious question: how many of America's gun owners would allow their government to deny them gun ownership? Further, how many would passively sit back and allow their guns to be confiscated?
As humbly and meekly as I know how to say it: as for me and my house, gun confiscation is the one act of tyranny that crosses the line; debate, discourse, discussion, and peaceful dissent cease and desist at that point. I say again, it is getting very serious now.

And a quick summary:
This unprecedented H1N1-H5N1 flu outbreak implicates the Ango-American Vaccine Pipeline, says world leading consumer health protector, Dr. Leonard Horowitz
Consider the skyrocketing stock values of Novavax, Inc., precipitated by dozens of alleged flu deaths in Mexico. Then investigate the leading Anglo-American network of genetic engineers manipulating, mutating, and distributing these viruses. The evidence compels you, for the benefit of public health and safety to seriously consider, even decree, a conspiracy to commit genocide, according to this Harvard trained expert in emerging diseases.
Here, Dr. Horowitz urges an investigation of Dr. James S. Robertson, Englands leading bioengineer of flu viruses for the vaccine industry, and avid promoter of U.S. Government funding for lucrative biodefense contracts, along with collaborators at the US Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC). These suspects helped Novavax, Inc., in Bethesda, Maryland, produce genetically-modified recombinants of the avian, swine, and Spanish flu viruses, H5N1 and H1N1, nearly identical to the unprecedented Mexican virus that is allegedly spreading to the United States at the time of this posting. The outbreak was precisely timed to promote the companys new research and huge vaccine stockpiling contracts.
Scientists at the U.S. Centers for Disease Control (CDC) are implicated through collaborations and publications involving private contracts with Novavax, a company that obtains its biosimulars through CDC Influenza Branch director, Ruben O. Donis, and Dr. Rick Bright, previously working with Donis at the CDC, now Novavaxs Vice President of Global Influenza Programs.
Descriptions of this virus is pathognomonic, or diagnostic, of a virus that came from Robertsons circle of friends, Dr. Horowitz charges. No other group in the world takes H5N1 Asian flu infected chickens, brings them to Europe, extracts their DNA, combines their proteins with H1N1 viruses from the 1918 Spanish flu isolate, additionally mixes in swine flu genes from pigs, then reverse engineers them to infect humans. The end product could only have ended up in Mexico via the United States from Britain in care of the CDC. The CDC had to have sent them to Novavax, where Rick Brights team is now implicated in a conspiracy to commit genocide—the mass killing of people for profit.

Great job Riverway.
It tells me the same thing it tells you, the US Government did not suddenly “forget” how to do a competent investigation. On the contrary, they have gone out of their way to prevent such an investigation from seeing the light of day, starting with the phony 911 Commission Report (Bush didn't even want this whitewash report), carting away the steel, and other material, from the crime scene, gagging first responders for years, the list goes on and on.

johnwk wrote on Apr 5 2009, 05:11 PM:I have noticed that promoters of the “FairTax” (FT), are infiltrating tea parties across the nation to advance their cause. Sadly, the FT, as documented by its legislative text (H.R.25), would not only enlarge the iron fist of our federal government’s taxing powers if adopted, it would also subjugate the thoughtful checks and balances of our Constitution's original tax plan, just as current federal taxation now does!
Nowhere in the text of H.R.25 is language to remove Congress's authority to lay and collect “excise taxes” calculated from profits and gains. For those not aware, an excise tax may be laid upon a “privilege” or a specific occupation and the amount of tax to be paid may be “calculated” from profits and gains realized under the privilege or occupation which the excise tax has been laid upon. Why is this important for tea party participants to fully understand? Repealing “income taxes” and the 16th Amendment, which is the sales pitch made by ringleaders of the FT, does not propose to end “excise taxes” which may be “calculated” from profits and gains. This is a clever loophole contained in the language of the FT and would keep alive the very kind of tax freedom loving Americans now complain of, while an across the board 23 percent tax upon the sale of consumer items and services rendered would be established if the FT is adopted.
Note that the SCOTUS, before the 16th Amendment was adopted upheld the Corporate Excise Tax Act of 1909 which was an excise tax laid upon the “privilege” of being a corporation, and the amount of tax to be paid under it was calculated from profits and gains realized under corporate charters ( See Flint vs. Stone Tracy). So, while corporate “income taxes” are proposed to be repealed under the FT, the power to lay a Corporate “excise tax” as was done in 1909 is not intended to repealed under the FT, and would allow Congress, in spite of the FT, to lay an “excise tax” on small businesses across the nation and calculate the amount of tax to be paid from profits and gains realized by these businesses. This in effect keeps alive the very kind of tax which unsuspecting fair tax supporters think would end under the FT.
It is interesting to note that H.R. 25 would actually create an Excise Tax Bureau- … to administer those excise taxes not administered by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms! And, this “Excise Tax Bureau” would be in addition to the a Sales Tax Bureau- – – which is another federal taxing agency proposed to be created under the alleged FT!
So, how would the FT affect America’s Mary and Joe Sixpack, our every day folks? Well, Mary and Joe have two children and find it necessary to earn extra money to pay their bills. Mary baby sits for neighbors in the community and cleans homes on week ends to raise extra money while Joe, who works for a pluming company as a full-time job, also provides the same plumbing service on his own time to people living in his community. Surprise! Under the FT which promises to end the misery of income taxation, Mary and Joe would continue to experience the same burdens they now suffer under “income taxation”— record keeping, audits, and filing sales tax returns under the penalty of perjury!
The startling truth is, those who sell a taxable service or property under the FT, such as Mary and Joe mentioned above, will have to collect and send sales tax receipts to the federal government and keep any records Congress may decide are needed, and this would be in addition to Mary and Joe having to register with government as a “seller” of a taxable property or service in order to sell the property they have in their labor, which is what is really being taxed under the alleged FT.
Although the so called income tax may be repealed under the FT and the IRS closed down, its employees would merely be moved to other federal agencies and the same miseries of income taxation would still be experienced by small business owners, our nation’s large corporations, and even felt by Mary and Joe Sixpack who seem to have fallen for the feel good rhetoric dished out by the ringleaders of the alleged FT.
And so, the question remains, what is it that America’s freedom loving people ought to be promoting at every tea party? I would say a return to our nation’s first principles, and that would include a return to our Constitution’s original tax plan which can be accomplished by adding the following words to our federal Constitution:
The Sixteenth Amendment is hereby repealed and Congress is henceforth forbidden to lay “any“ tax or burden calculated from profits, gains, interest, salaries, wages, tips, inheritances or any other lawfully realized money
In effect, our founding fathers intended, as a first method to raise a federal revenue, was to have Congress lay imposts and duties at our water’s edge, which included taxing specifically selected articles of consumption, preferable those considered to be luxury. The logic and fairness of these taxes on consumption is explained by Hamilton in Federalist No. 21:
Quote:The rich may be extravagant, the poor can be frugal; and private oppression may always be avoided by a judicious selection of objects proper for such impositions. If inequalities should arise in some States from duties on particular objects, these will, in all probability, be counterbalanced by proportional inequalities in other States, from the duties on other objects. In the course of time and things, an equilibrium, as far as it is attainable in so complicated a subject, will be established everywhere. Or, if inequalities should still exist, they would neither be so great in their degree, so uniform in their operation, nor so odious in their appearance, as those which would necessarily spring from quotas, upon any scale that can possibly be devised.
Under our founding father’s method of taxing consumption (see our nation’s first revenue Act) note that each article is judiciously selected and then evaluated for the appropriate amount of tax.
In addition to the above mentioned tax on specifically chosen articles of consumption, an across the board tonnage tax on imports was also laid by our founding fathers as a way to help raise a national revenue from foreign business owners wishing to sell their products on American soil — sort of like an entry ticket into a flea market.
Moving on with our Constitution’s original tax plan, if insufficient revenue was raised from the above mentioned “external taxes” then internal taxes on articles of consumption were intended to be imposed to raise additional revenue. But once again, each article was to be carefully selected and judged for the appropriate amount of tax. It seems to be self evident that articles necessary to conduct business and expand our nation’s domestic industrial base ought to be excluded from the list of taxables to encourage a healthy and vibrant manufacturing capability on American soil, and was thought essential to the survival of America’s independence by our founding fathers, and also would provide needed employment!
Our founders also believed that articles of necessity, such as food, clothing, shelter etc., ought not be taxed to avoid an oppressive burden upon the poor and working classes which is also pointed out in Federalist No. 21.
But there is still another reason for selecting each specific article to be taxed and judging the amount of tax to be laid___ and that reason is to allow the market place to determine the limit of taxes on articles of consumption. As Hamilton states in very clear language:
Quote:It is a signal advantage of taxes on articles of consumption that they contain in their own nature a security against excess. They prescribe their own limit, which can not be exceeded without defeating the end proposed, that is, an extension of the revenue
The beauty of limiting Congress’ power to taxing specifically chosen articles of luxury is this. If Congress performs its constitutional functions properly and the nation as a whole is productive and prosperous, the purchase of articles of luxury will undoubtedly increase, and with it, the flow of revenue into the federal treasury. But, if the legislative policies of Congress are oppressive and its regulatory impositions upon business and industry impede a flourishing economy, which unquestionably is now the case, or any particular article of consumption is excessively taxed by Congress because of Congress’s greed, the first sign would be is a decline in the flow of revenue into the national treasury, and this would be a poetic and self inflicting punishment upon Congress!
The bottom line is, those who participate in tea parties around the nation need to familiarize themselves with our Constitution’s original tax plan, and what is really being promoted under the guise of an alleged FT, and can be discovered by carefully studying the actual text of H.R. 25 which is 135 pages of legal mumbo jumbo and is far different than its fairy tale version put into book form and panhandled by its ring leaders.
For those who have done their homework and will attend tea parties, real tax reform does not need 135 pages of legal nonsense to extricate our nation from the misery of income taxation, it only takes the following 32 words to be added to our Constitution:
The Sixteenth Amendment is hereby repealed and Congress is henceforth forbidden to lay “any“ tax or burden calculated from profits, gains, interest, salaries, wages, tips, inheritances or any other lawfully realized money
Regards,
JWK
You make an excellent point, we should get back to the original (sane) intention of those who ratified the Constitution(s).

Ten Fun things to Do before you Die
by Karol Jackowski, a nun
Before You die, give some serious thought to vowing holy disobedience whenever necessary. Discerning and knowing why one would choose to disobey is by far the most serious and mysterious part of listening to the voice of God. It's also a recurring theme throughout the Bible. Biblical stories tell of four extraordinary circumstances that call for divinely inspired disobedience:
1. the situation is unbearable and survival is at stake;
2. the call to disobey promises deliverance;
3. acts of disobedience would relieve oppression;
4. and last but not but not least, swift immediate divine reasons for disobedience are those that come from God and contain the moral imperative to set yourself and others free.
In the end, holy obedience and holy disobedience appear as one and the same call-and both are held together by listening to God more than anyone else. Given the sad shape of authority in this world, it's not a bad practice for everyone to vow before they die. What a cosmic event it would be if all human kind listened to God more than anyone else. I imagine the whole world would be assumed into heaven. Or you could just assume that would be heaven.
