Yes, I concur, FG website is at least 15 years ahead of everyone else. We are the gold standard, that much is certain. And it is an honor and a privilege to come to FG and meet so many likeminded, honest and dedicated people who love the USA Republic and all that it potentially can be.
The tenacity with which the corrupt DOJ and and the corrupt IRS unjustifiably attacked FG and one of our own, is proof positive that the Feds know that from a legal and factual standpoint, the free speech writings that appear at FG are on point and 100% correct. And because they did not disprove or refute anything, that means that the Feds agree with FG and thus, through their agreement, the Feds endorse FG and have given it their stamp of approval. 🙂
We at FG only want and only propagate justice and Truth. That is it. Accordingly, one can readily understand why the Feds are so scared of FG and all of our Constitutionally protected free speech.
We spread the Truth and we help educate others who yearn to be sovereign and free, just like me and so many others here at FG.
Rather than refute and disprove the evidence in the free “The Great IRS Hoax” book, which we all know the IRS can NOT do, instead, they attempted to attack the Messenger. Bad news bozos.
But it all backfired on the Feds, as I predicted that it would. (chuckle)
We are still here, and through our interactions with the Feds, we identified numerous weak points of theirs and have relentlessly attacked those weak points. And the best part is, that as a result of being unjustifiably attacked, we are more numerous (and we have replicated ourselves many, many times over), we are far more smarter than we were, and we have created actionable and useful documents at FG and at SEDM.org, that others can access for free and use and rely upon to confront the corrupt IRS.
Friedrich Nietsczhe said “that which does not kill me, makes me stronger”, and he was right.
In the end we will prevail because Truth and God are on our side.

As smart as Irwin is, he made some serious, preventable, and stupid mistakes while trying to defend himself.
He could have done a much better job defending himself if he only availed himself of the knowledge available at http://www.sedm.org and http://www.famguardian.org.

Although I agree with Author 2 in part, I also dissent in part.
His procedures are correct, but, despite what Author 2 states, my belief is that acting loud and confrontational in a bank can be a serious misstep in this post 9/11 Age when the PATRIOT ACT permits armed guards working for a Federal Reserve Bank, to shoot bank customers and use deadly force.
I agree with A#2 above, simply close the account and use a W-8 BEN Form to open a new account.
But before you do that, I suggest that you apply for a USA Passport and attach an affidavit asserting that you are a non-resident alien and you are NOT a U.S. person or a U.S. citizen. Then, 4 months after you get your passport, apply to the US State Dept for a certified, authenticated copy of your passport records, and then take this package and show it to the Bank Manager to help bolster your position of why the W8BEN form is the correct form for you to use.
I would not use the modified W8 BEN form though, as its overly onerous, openly confrontational and its restrictive language in Section IV, makes it less likely to be accepted by a bank. I think it is ludicorus to try and open a bank account and insist that the form being used, in this case, as per Author 2, a modified W8BEN form, forbids the bank under the threat of a $100,000 fine, to enter any of the info into an electronic or computer system. This type of restriction is unrealistic and, in my view, wholly uneccessary.
The goal should be to open an unnumbered bank account, the goal is not to prove to a Bank Manager that you know more law than he does.
The modified W8 BEN Form, in its current incarnation, is, in my view, wholly inappropriate and will not help you achieve your goal. I say go with the regular
W-8BEN Form and attach a brief affidavit to rebut certain presumptions.

And I do understand your position, however, I still strongly disagree with it.
I think flying the flag upside down, when one is not in immediate physical danger, is a great sign of disrespect to all Americans, especially to those of us that have at one time or another taken a solemn oath to protect and defend the USA Constitution from all enemies foreign and domestic. It is as simple as that.
There are people in this Forum who are every bit as patriotic as anyone currently serving in the USA Armed Forces(and yes, I know you served).
One is free to protest in any manner that they see fit.
That said, my view is that in many respects you are correct, but at the same time, the idea of flying a flag upside down is to signify that one is in immediate PHYSICAL danger and there is great risk of one losing their life. That's it.
Flying the flag upside is a way to signal others, especially rescue crew, of the location of the person who is in peril and is in risk of dying. Such is certainly not the case here, in this cyber Forum.
Now, my view is that our cyber cohort is merely making a political statement and his life is not physically in danger, although his personaly liberties are very much in danger and that part is certainly true.
You are deluding yourself if you think that flying the flag upside down in a cyber forum accomplishes anything. It doesn't.
You are merely making a political protest and although I generally understand and agree with the origin of why you feel you must protest, there certainly are numerous ways in which to make a positive difference and there are proactive things you can and should be doing to effectuate change, and when all is said and done, disrespecting the flag and flying it upside down as you are doing, accomplishes nothing other than perhaps to give you personal gratification of some sort as you make your political statement.
I am wondering, if you re-enlisted in the Armed Forces, even knowing what you now know about how corrupt the US Government really is, would you have the courage to fly the flag upside down in the barracks, taped to the inside of your footlocker?
Think about that.
I am willing to bet that you would not fly the flag upside down because you would pretty much be assured of having one or more of your military buddies get in your face and tell you to fly the flag correctly or not at all. Yes?
So, if you would not fly the flag upside down in your barracks, taped to the inside of your footlocker, why would you arrive here and disrespect me and all of these other patriotic Americans as you have, just to make a political statement?
Do whatever you want. Make your political statement. And if by chance our paths ever cross at a THM event, be assured that I will be more than willing to get right in your face over this issue.

The last woman that I dated, who was a loyal Southern Baptist, whenever we discussed marriage, she made it a point to tell me that if we were ever to get married, she would insist that we get a marriage license.
Anyway, off and on for a period of many months, we occassionally would talk about the marriage license issue, and she never budged off her position, and I held firm to mine, that I would never marry anyone if she insisted that we must get a marriage license. Rut-roh!
We literally got nowhere with all the talking.
So, this leads me to my next point, and that is:

What an f-ing disgrace the DOJ and IRS both are!! Their treatment of Irwin is simply shameless.
I will not be at all surprised if someone who is close to Irwin, takes matters into their own hands, and decides to institute a very different brand of justice, and to mete it out in a way that will give some folks pause.
The US Government is one of the single most corrupt and lying organizations on this earth.

Flying the American flag upside down should only be done when there is an emergency and someone is in distress.
Doing it at any other time is very disrespectful, especially to those who have worn the uniform of the USA Armed Forces and to those of us in the Tax Honesty Movement, who are out here on the fornt lines putting our personal liberty at risk.

I now understand better where you are coming from, I think.
Understand though, that I am not pissed off at all. I am a Roman Catholic Taoist, and a Taoist who is Roman Catholic, so, I almost never get pissed off about anything, especially stuff I read on the Web or anywhere else.
Sonik, I had no idea that you were such a loyal reader of Devvy's. Back in 2000 and 2001, about every few weeks, I used to visit Devvy's site and read stuff from the Wallace Institute. But at some point, as my legal research and knowledge grew, I felt that all Devvy was doing with her articles, was simply recycling the same old stuff. Reading Devvy became tiresome. I needed something more substantive, and then I found Famguardian.tzo, and, well, I left Devvy in the dust as I ventured forth.
So what I am saying is that I don't know Devvy's writing style no where near as well as you do. But I went back and read the article in question, from 2004, and yes indeed, it certainly appears to have Devvy's paw prints all over it. I will stop short of publicly calling Devvy a liar, but man, something doesn't seem to fit here.
The article has a defined and obvious anti-Bob Schulz slant, that is certain.

A Summer 2006 IRS Staff Directory is now available.
Messengers Korb, DeNovio, and Zelnik are still at the IRS in Washington, D.C., as far as John Klotsche goes, I will have to verify that.
Note, if you send an affidavit to Zelnik, it appears that he forwards it to the IRS's corrupt office located in Ogden, Utah. Which is to be expected since Zelnik is an attorney and if he actually reads an affidavit from a non-taxpayer, it will put him in a difficult position should the matter proceed to trial and he be called as a witness. Guys, this is the main reason why you want to write to the IRS's top lawyers, because you can bet that none of them want to be called as a witness in your case.
Still, you folks, if you have not done so already, you should write one or more brief affidavits to the IRS's top lawyers and tell them certain facts which you have learned, and ask the IRS lawyers to correct your facts.
And then sit back and wait to see if they reply.
We have to go on the offensive with these guys, and write them pesky affidavits so we keep these bozos at the IRS tied up. Look at it this way, if we continue writing affidavits to the IRS, we increase the chances that perhaps one or more IRS attorney will read the affidavit, see the light, quit the IRS, and then come over to our side. It is one of the few chances we have of educating the IRS attorneys about the Truth and the facts.
On other fronts, I understand that, ahem, Senator Charles Grassley, a/k/a Chuckie, wants the IRS to go after pimps and prostitutes who do not file IRS Forms W4, W-2s and related IRS paperwork. 😆 😀 Ohhh man, is Chuckie Grassley a joke or what!!
This will be perfect for those of us in the Tax Honesty Movement. Go Chuckie, go!!!
If Mr Chuckie Grass-Man gets his way, and the IRS enforcement assets are partly shifted to chase down Huggy Bear the pimp, and his “women”, well, that will mean that there will be that many fewer IRS folks going after honest non-taxpayers like the good folks who read these Forums. 😮 😛 Ahahahahahahahahaha!!! 😀
