I have heard it said that all you can do is all you can do, but all you can do is enough. Still, is there no hope of repentance for them? At least some of them? Joe Banister, Sherry Jackson and Jhon Turner are only a few, there may be more out there. I won't let it bother me because I do know where I stand. I won't cast any pearls before swine but I want to keep a line in the water. Thanks for the encouragement Lambskin.
I agree that one needs more than 861 to prove non liablitiy not because 861 is incorrect or a trap, so to speak, but because it is too confusing to a jury. Average folks are not able to hold the pieces together in their minds and most are intellectually lazy. It is only posible to be a taxpayer if you have taxable income that is true and federal jurisdiction to tax is limited to commerce with foreign countries, interstate commerce, and commerce with indian tribes. Article 1 sec. 8
But having said that, any serious student of the monsterous tax code should become aquainted with the regs under 861.
It was 1981 when I first became aware of the governments tax lies thanks to Irwin. Ever since then I eat ,sleep, bath, dress, work, walk and talk almost nothing but INCOME TAXES. I have been oustracized by many of my extended family. I am very proud of my wife and daughters though. They have always stood by me even in the face of IRS terror. Now My grand children are still very young but they are growing up and guess what they are going to learn from me?
So Irwin your efforts are reveberating through many generations. You have not fought in vain!
Thank you BOBT12. It might interest you to know that because of our experience with the IRS CID some of our industrial neighbors are begining to wonder why we are still here and not in jail. I have so far been to 4 IRS appeals conferences as a wittness for others and to assist them in articulating the particulars of the law. Love those OMB control numbers!
Hello, my name is Al and I am new to the forum. I just want to tell you a little about myself. I work for myself in a little machine shop with a couple of friends. We started up 12 years ago when we got fed up with our employer's refusal to even look at the law and stop withholding. Instead he took legal advice from his accountant and started withholding at single zerro. We were his only emloyees at the time! 3 highly skilled tool makers. Well we got mad and quit! He has not been able to replace us since we quit 12 years ago. We stopped filing in 1994 and of course thr IRS took notice a couple of years after that. Well we became members of the Save a Patriot Fellowship and used their excellent paralegal services to respond to IRS intimidation letters and to creat a written record of our correspondents will the IRS. Well 3 years ago they turned up the heat on us by sending a squad of armed agents to intimidate our industrial neighbors and friends but they would not knock on our door and as I understand it our land lord told us that they said there was no authority for them to harass us directy. Sounds kind of funny but that is what happend. The IRS kept up a campaine of intimidation for 6 months. We refused to spreak with them in person. The only comunication we allowed was in writting. All of the agents involved an their superiors got letters once a month with the irefutable details of the Law. Eventually after 6 months the IRS responded to our letters with the general definition of gross income!! HA HA HA. How weak their agrument was. I will go to jail before I ever pay tribute to the Fed again. I would concider it a vacation since I suffer from years of wear and tear on my bones. Anyway we haven't heard from them in 3 years. All of our corespondence with them is now admissible in court and they know it. At one time the IRS CID agent in charge of investigating us refused to accept our registered mail and we have proof that he refused it. He got our corespondence vis registered FAX instead!
