The Sovereignty Education and Defense Ministry (SEDM) is a non-profit, Christian, religious ministry existing outside the jurisdiction of state or federal governments of the United States. All of its offerings are available only through the internet. It offers a broad spectrum of educational resources such as electronic books, CDs, DVDs, movies, and federal and state response letters. Many of its offerings were developed in affiliation with this website, but the works of several other prominent third party personalities are also offered. Users may not obtain any of the ministry's offerings without signing or at least consenting fully and unconditionally with the terms of the mandatory member agreement. The mandatory member agreement requires members to declare that they have independently and voluntarily determined that they are "nontaxpayers", that they assume complete responsibility for themselves and for all determinations about their legal status, and that they want to be further educated about the law and their rights and the options available to them. 5.1 To help believers to honor and obey God's laws, which is a religious practice, by avoiding government slavery and idolatry
5.2 To expose, punish, and prosecute evil behavior by Biblical standards. This is called "hating evil" and is a religious practice.
5.3 To expose, punish, and prosecute deception by state and federal governments:

In my view, far from deserving condemnation for their courageous reporting, the New York Times, the Washington Post, and other newspapers should be commended for serving the purpose that the Founding Fathers saw so clearly.
