Well, we must be honest and realize that according to the scriptures, as long as this country rejects God's words, this country, along with all the others, will be rejected by God and will soon be totally wasted. For the nation and kingdom that will not serve thee shall perish; yea, those nations shall be utterly wasted. Is 60:12
Yes, if the democrats get in, this process will be speeded up massively - read the democratic platform. If the Republicans get in, the same global goals are present, but they just appear to be doing it a little differently than the environmentalists - they have a bigger hand in the educational system, so it will still get accomplished. I guess we will see where our country stands in relation to the people this November!
But at any rate, Ole America - stars and stripes forever - liberty bell - Hands over the sea - etc. will not only be 'history', but they won't even be in the history books!
We can forget about our freedoms
that we know of today! We may be filling out paperwork to mow our
own lawn, if we are of the elite to own property with a lawn.
I am all for leading that quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty here in Touchet! - but those days just appear to be limited - we can not deny that truthful though hard fact! And our children? Boy, they have a bleak future if they can't engage Colossians 3:1-3 & keep their face in their KJV Bible, even if it has to be done in SMALL groups or hidden in their own house.
If there is a light in the tunnel for America, it must be a black light!

Here are some highlites - note the year all of this started!
1905. The Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching (CFAT) was founded. Together with other Carnegie Foundations, it has been a major promoter and funder of socialistic, global education projects.
1934. The Carnegie Corporation funded
the American Historical Association's Report of the Commission on
the Social Studies. Like most of today's social studies curricula,
the report called for a shift from free enterprise to collectivism:
"...the age of individualism and laissez faire
in economy and government is closing and... a new age of collectivism is
emerging... It may involve the limiting or supplanting of private property
by public property or it may entail the preservation of private property,
extended and distributed among the masses... Almost certainly it will involve
a larger measure of compulsory as well as voluntary cooperation of citizens
in the context of the complex national economy, a corresponding enlargement
of the functions of government, and an increasing state intervention in
fundamental branches of economy previously left to individual discretion
and initiative...
1942. The editor of the NEA Journal, J. Elmer Morgan, wrote an editorial titled "The United Peoples of the World." In it, he explained a world government's need for an educational branch, a world system of money and credit, a world police force, "a world bill of rights and duties."
1946. In his NEA editorial, "The teacher and World Government," J. Elmer Morgan, wrote, "In the struggle to establish an adequate world government, the teacher... can do much to prepare the hearts and minds of children.... At the very top of all the agencies which will assure the coming of world government must stand the school, the teacher, and the organized profession."
1946. Canadian psychiatrist and World War II General Brock Chisholm, M.D. head of the World Health Organization (WHO), promoted the behavior modification processes now mandated through Goals 2000.
We have swallowed all manner of poisonous certainties fed us by our parents, our Sunday and day school teachers... The results are frustration, inferiority, neurosis and inability to... make the world fit to live in.
The re-interpretation and eventually eradication of the concept of right and wrong which has been the basis of child training... these are the belated objectives of practically all effective psychotherapy....
Psychology and sociology... the sciences of living, should be... taught to all children in primary an secondary schools, while the study of such thing as trigonometry, Latin, religions and others of specialist concern should be left to universities. Only so... can we help our children carry their responsibilities as world citizens....
...it has long been generally accepted that parents have perfect right to impose any points of view, any lies or fears, superstitions, prejudices, hates, or faith on their defenseless children. It is, however, only recently that it has become a matter of certain knowledge that these things cause neuroses....
Surely the training of children in homes and schools should be of at least as great public concern as are their vaccination... for their own protection and that of other people.... [Individuals with] guilts, fears, inferiorites, are certain to project their hates on to others.... Any such reaction now becomes a dangerous threat to the whole world. For the very survival of the human race, world understanding, tolerance and forbearance have become absolutely essential. We must be prepared to sacrifice much.... Whatever the cost, we must learn to live in friendliness and peace... . putting aside the mistaken old ways of our elders if that is possible. If it cannot be done gently, it may have to be done roughly or even violently....
1965. The U.S. Congress passed the federal Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA). Months later, it decided to fund Citizens for the 21st Century, a book by UCLA Professor John Goodlad, who wrote,
Although the conduct of education and especially the clientele have changed.... the school is perceived very much as it was then: a partitioned box where boys and girls come to sit still for six hours a day and to be told about some fragmentary pieces of "knowledge" thought to reflect the rudiments of their "culture." This image must be shattered, violently if necessary -- and forever. The future of mankind may rest upon it.
1970. The Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development (ASCD), the curriculum arm of the NEA, published To Nurture Humaneness: Commitment for the '70's. These visionary statements of its authors are coming true in our times:
The old order is passing.... The controls of the past were sacred.... Social controls cannot be left to blind chance and unplanned change -- usually attributed to God. Man must be the builder of new forms of social organizations.... Here education must play a stellar role.[13] (Dan W. Dodson, Professor of Educational Sociology at N. Y. University)
The school will need to be supplemented by neighborhood family centers which provide infant care and developmental activity.... Education may well begin at birth in cooperative family centers.[14] (Francis Chase, Professor Emeritus of the University of Chicago)
Many daily decisions and value judgments now made by the individual will soon be made for him... How to plan for one's children's education will be partially taken out of his hands.[15] (John Loughary, Professor of Education at the University of Oregon.
Vital questions of values, beliefs, feelings, emotions and human interrelationships in all forms must be integral parts of the curriculum.[16] (Arthur Combs, Professor of Education at the University of Florida)
1974. Alvin Toffler (Newt Gingrich's mentor), Willard Wirtz and other futurists wrote a report issued Institute for Chief State School Officers titled "Man, Education, and Society in the Year 2000." Other CSSO participants were George Bush, James Baker, and Edmund de Rothschild. Funded by HEW's Office of Education, the report concluded that "the 50 states should organize a commission to establish the values that are significant in approaching problems (e.g., population) that must be faced in the future." The summary explained that
The home, the church and the school cannot be effective maintainers [of society] since the future cannot be predicted... The traditional cluster of knowledge, skills, values and concepts will not help our young face the future in their private life, the international situation.... Perhaps there is a need for the clarification of new values needed to solve future problems
1976. Phi Delta Kappan printed "America's Next 25 Years: Rather than adding my voice to those who urge us to go "back to the basics," I would argue that we need to move ahead to new basics...
1976. The Russian book, The Scientific and Technological Revolution and the Revolution in Education, translated and imported to the U.S.A., helped lay the foundation for the philosophy behind Outcome-based Education. Its cover jacket explains that the book "examines the fundamental directions that the revolution in education will take: introduction of teaching machines, instruction from a younger age, linking instruction with productive labor, continuous education... Under socialism, education has become not only the personal affair of every individual, but also a concern of society as a whole." In the book, Vladimir Turchenko wrote that
One of the most important functions of education today is... the preparation of a skilled labor force for the national economy.... A second task... is to ensure the socialization of the younger generation.... A child at the moment of birth is but a biological organism that turns into a person... [through] socialization. Actualization [of education] involves shifting the focus of instruction from memorization to teaching how to think.... In many countries practical steps are being taken to begin education from earliest childhood... The upbringing of the younger generation will become the affair of all
1985. The U.S. Department of State gave the Carnegie Corporation "authority to negotiate with the Soviet Academy of Sciences, which is known to be an intelligence-gathering arm of the KGB, regarding 'curriculum development and the restructuring of American education.'"
1987 - US Government SCAN report: What may be crucial, they say, is the dependability of a labor force and how well it can be managed and trained -- not its general educational level, although a small cadre of highly educated creative people are essential to innovation and growth. Ending discrimination and changing values are probably more important than reading
1990. Informatik, a Moscow-based educational organization, and the Carnegie Endowment Fund...." Martin explains the new values they will promote:
'Good' will no longer be burdened with a moral or religious coloring.
'Good' will simply be synonymous with 'global.' Else, what's an education
for? ... The emphasis is on homogeneity of minds, on the creation and nourishing
of a truly global mentality.... We must all become little Transnationalists.
1991 We've got to revolutionize education. The old answers are not good enough anymore," President Bush told students at the Saturn School of Tomorrow in St. Paul, Minnesota, a national model for educational innovation which proved to be a disaster academically.
1991 in Oregon. What would America be learning? The Oregon Education Act for the 21st Century (HB 3565) decreed that all 10th grade students must pass an outcome-based test to earn their Certificate of Initial Mastery (CIM). Those who fail will move on to special Learning Centers. Since people can neither attend college nor be employed without the CIM, the bill implies that home schoolers and students in Christian schools whose responses fail to reflect new global values would also have to be remediated and tested until they conform to state and national standards. This Oregon law parallels a federal School-to Work bill.
1993 (February 11-14). The third annual conference of the National
Association for Multicultural Education (NAME) brought together multicultural
educators from all 50 states. Keynote speaker Lily Wong Fillmore, a professor
of language at the University of California at Berkeley, asserted that
the radical curriculum reform they propose will provoke "definite clashes
with the practices, beliefs and attitudes that are taught in many homes..
Where will a godly woman fit into this new global world? How about a godly man? A godly family growing with the Bible? Learning today's right & wrong is not preparing for tomorrow's right and wrong!
Church services in a building like ours here in Touchet?
We CAN NOT prepare our children for this new world and I believe we SHOULD NOT. We must prepare our children for God's order! - for God's world and during all of this, we must truly count on the Lord to protect us and bless us abundantly with His blessings, until He finally comes down and Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. I Thes 4:17 even if that means during war, persecutions and sufferings. Wherefore comfort one another with these words but will our kids make it with us?
Our kids must grow up fast - and still, they need to enjoy their 'kidhood', amen?
Because it is going to take the work of the United Nations to get us back to the Book! The actions of this organization just may get people to FINALLY open their eyes to what we have been trying to show them!
People will some day see what the
schools are doing to their children! Then our children will know
what we were trying to tell them - because the schools did it to us!
It is far more serious now than when we were caught up in it all - things
are far more hardened & finalized within the educational system today.
Will it maybe too late? Amos 8:11-13
Behold, the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in
the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing
the words of the LORD: And they shall wander from sea to sea, and from
the north even to the east, they shall run to and fro to seek the word
of the LORD, and shall not find it. In that day shall the fair virgins
and young men faint for thirst. Will
they find it?
I have said to some people lately, that until they choose to hit bottom - they have no serious interest in getting right with God & getting into this Bible for what it is! People are all still just caught up in rubbish, and The strength of the bearers of burdens is decayed, and there is much rubbish; so that we are not able to build the wall. Neh 4:10
America - land of the free, home of the brave - nice beautiful houses - luxury cars and trucks - tons of TV's, home movies and videos, high tech games and inventions, vacations and travels afar, restaurants for eating away from home, all kinds of food and music - CHOCOLATE - prosperity & riches, stock market games with your money, credit cards - expensive mechanized toys, great inventions and easy living - etc.
God's blessings have turned into
the Devil's blessings! Mark 4:19
And
the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts
of other things entering in, choke the word, and it becometh unfruitful.
But we need to be aware of the necessary
balance - Proverbs 30:8,9
Remove far from me vanity and lies: give me neither poverty nor riches;
feed me with food convenient for me: Lest I be full, and deny thee,
and say, Who is the LORD? or lest I be poor, and steal, and take
the name of my God in vain.
As America goes down, this Book will be lifted up!
But as it is, reproof, correction and instruction in righteousness seems to be a very difficult pill to swallow. Getting ourselves untwisted from the ways of the old man - the old unsaved days - has proven to be a very difficult thing for us all.
Simple sermons just can't get some folks to desire to do right - to 'save' their children - to straighten the order of the home back to God's order - to get us to be aware of our new Christian walk and talk as well as our new look.
From outside looking inside, pastors in other countries say the Independent Bible Believing church movement in America is dead. People can't and won't deal with it.
Like one of our great church members
said, "Conviction but no guts"!
It will cause us to partake of His sufferings! Phil 3:10 That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death; We will just get to know God better than we have ever even known! We have not had to suffer yet and that is one part of our walk we don't know very well. It takes a good job failure - lose the farm - lose a child - lose your home - to really get down on our knees to seek God and HIS comforts and guidance in those tough times! Hebrews 12:10 For they verily for a few days chastened us after their own pleasure; but he for our profit, that we might be partakers of his holiness.
It will force us to set our affection in the right place! Col 3:1-3 If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. We most definitely will get our affection off the world - we will see the pollution and corruption of the world more and more! Many christians will lose their friendship and bondage with the world and their relationship with the Lord will improve greatly! Jms:4:4: Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God. The United Nations can make us more heavenly minded!
It will force us to rely on God's promises - to learn them and understand them and claim them! Phil 4:19 But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. II Peter 1:4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. This book will mean far more to us when they try to take it away. And if they get it, your memory will come into play, amen!
It will force us to get some more experience that will help us help others in these tough days coming! II Corinthians 1:3,4 Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God. Folks, our witnessing will become more real. We will 'mean it' when we talk to people about 7th Day Adventist teaching being of the devil - about counterfeit Christians who think they are truly saved - playing church or actually singing praises and worshipping as we sing. Maybe what the preacher has to say will mean more to people in those tough days coming. Maybe some folks might even start listening to him & coming to church more often.
It will force to become stronger
God's way by making us weaker in our ways!
II Corinthians 12: 9-10
And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is
made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in
my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I
take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions,
in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.
We will see the actual proof in our hearts that God's grace is sufficient,
amen!
Luke 8:12
Those by the way side are
they that hear; then cometh the devil,
and taketh away the word
out of their hearts, lest they should believe and be saved.
Luke 8:13
They on the rock are they,
which, when they hear, receive the word with joy;
and these have no root, which
for a while believe, and in time of temptation fall away.
Hey, maybe this is you!
Luke 8:15
But that on the good ground
are they, which in an honest and good heart,
having heard the word, keep
it, and bring forth fruit with patience.
I honestly hope it is. But must we wait for the fur to fly? No, let's be tough and get into that Book NOW while it is still because you just love the Book - and love the Lord!
I read this today
Do you know what you find in
the 'middle of the road'?
A yellow stripe and dead skunks!
Let's enjoy these days while we can - but let's enjoy them WITH the Lord, amen!
