Questions concerning the labor statutes included in
Chapters 130-139
should be referred to the Labor-Management Unit of the Organized
Crime and
Racketeering Section of the Criminal Division with the following
exceptions:
- Public Integrity Section, Criminal Division,
supervises violations
of 18 U.S.C. § 1951 involving extortion under color of official
right or
extortion by a public official through misuse of his/her office;
- Terrorism and Violent Crimes Section, Criminal Division,
supervises
violations of the following statutes when the violations do not
involve
labor-management disputes or organized crime:
- 18 U.S.C. § 1951 -- Robbery and Commercial Extortion;
- 18 U.S.C. § 33 -- Destruction of Motor Vehicles.
