174.) In the present decay of Spanish agriculture, Mr.
Swinburne (Travels into Spain, p. 119) surveyed with
pleasure the delicious valley from Murcia to Orihuela, four
leagues and a half of the finest corn pulse, lucerne,
oranges, &c.]
