I HAVE &#8220;READ THE DOCUMENT!&#8221; but maybe not understood it as you do.<br />
As it states, I have been issued a SSN. As I mentioned earlier, I am still reading through &#8220;The Great IRS Hoax&#8221; and so trying to understand the whole process of &#8220;renouncing&#8221; or returning my SSN, establishing my correct citizenship and tax status, etc. </p>

So, we&#039;ll see if they accept that response. The thing is I have a previous passport with the SSN, which they can easliy go find. So, I hope if they do require it they will just go reference it from the previous app but I will have a current app with none valid as the response for SSN.</p>

I will just modify the official app with USA citizen, etc instead of US citizen &#8211; unless anyone has any suggestions to the contrary.</p>

I have been trying to get educated and follow procedures but have not found the steps to take. I thought the Great IRS Hoax book just related to dealing with the IRS, so I hadn&#039;t yet taken to reading it straight through.<br />
So, I guess the 2.9 FAQ should help.<br />
