I honestly thought, when I wrote my lead post, that Larken Rose would avail himself of the new knowledge that had been generated over the past 4 years, but I was mistaken. I once thought that Larken was a “hero”, but I was wrong about that too. Larken's lack of professional growth is very disappointing. Larken never moved off of his obstinate 861 position, despite the world class material and info at famguardian.org and sedm.org. It almost appears as if Larken WANTED to get convicted, so he could have an EVEN LARGER cult of personality.
Larken is a very smart guy, I will admit that. But he never tried to learn from others, and he was just so full of himself, that he was blinded by the word traps employed throughout the 861 regulations as noted in my lead post above. It is sad what has happened to Larken and Tessa, but hardly at all surprising.
It appears that Larken wrongfully clung to his misguided notion of the 861 Argument, because he was too arrogant to educate himself about jurisdiction, the trade or business scam, the nonresident alien position, and on and on and on.
Intellectually speaking, Larken Rose never evolved or grew or learned from the expert legal research of others. And that was solely his bad.
It is a fact that Larken and Irwin Schiff are not best buddies. Do I agree with everything Irwin espouses? No! But that doesn't mean one should ignore everything espoused by Irwin. I am smart enough to know that some arguments and legal research advanced by Irwin have merit, and I have used Irwin's material to branch off and study certain matters more closely. And through self-study, one can recognize what facets of Irwin's research and his defense, are lacking. See, you learn and grow from the insights of others.
There was a time, 5 or 6 years ago, when Larken's knowledge far surpassed my own about this tax stuff. But as I continued to read hundreds of US Supreme court cases, and read and reread the free “The Great IRS Hoax” book, I realized that guys like me were far more expert than the continually intellectually stagnant Mr. Rose.
Larken Rose's main problem was that he simply refused to grow and learn the wider Truths about the severe territorial and subject matter limitations of the IRC, enumerated and exposed at http://www.famguardian.org.
Ahhh, here we are, about 15 months after my prescient lead post (see above), and Larken Rose, he of the immense ego and incredible intellectual arrogance, went into federal court, tried to argue 861 in his defense, and he ended up being convicted; and in the process, Larken sold us out and has turned his back on the Tax Honesty Movement.
I said long ago that using the 861 defense in a federal court was a trap and a ruse and I was right.
Larken made no effort to educate himself about the trade or business scam, nor did he make any effort to educate himself about the non-resident alien issue. This makes Larken both an idiot AND a Fool.
Lastly, despite his Napoleonic self-annoitment as an “861 income tax guru” and a “hero”, Larken Rose, STILL, to this day, does not grasp the importance of “jurisidiction. Duhh!!
And this fact is tragic in and of itself. I mean, how dense and intellectually stubborn can one man be? Larken was in a position of visible leadership within the Tax Honesty Movement and he OWED it to his cadre of adherents, to stay on top of his game and to learn and grow and refine his position and his thinking on these very complex issues. Larken failed us. He failed all of us.
So, fittingly, the DOJ and corrupt IRS have locked his ass up for 15 months. When he is staring at the bottom of the mattress of the top bunk, lying on his back, in an 8 x 14 foot federal prison cell, I am left wondering if even then, will Larken grasp what jurisdiction he is in? Sadly, I think not. 😮
Yeah, it is true that Larken DID NOT get a fair trial, but that makes him an even BIGGER idiot because he left himself so vulnerable and so exposed to the charges in the first place.
It is sad that Larken is in prison. Because, at bottom, he committed no crime, save for the crime of immense arrogance and stupidity on a grand scale. Nevertheless, when you get inside the federal circus, and you try and argue the territorial “codes” and regs with the US Government, you are most likely gonna lose.
The only good that can come out of Larken's 15 months in the BIG HOUSE, is that :
A. He could stand to lose 30-40 pounds anyway, and 15 months of very crappy prison food in Club Fed, will help him do that. 😮
and,
B. Larken, while locked up, will not have the chance to spread his misinformed, unsophisticated and legally flawed notions about 861 being the panacea that he has deluded himself into thinking that it is. So in that regard, the Tax Honesty Movement, save for the cultists in Larken's Fan Club, is far better off with Larken locked up.
When I meet anyone who extols the virtue of 861, I immediately know that the person is my intellectual inferior and their judgement is suspect.

Listen, do you ever plan on posting the results of that alleged “Freedom Conference” that you supposedly organized and held back in 2005 near Chicago, and in which you have publicly declared that about 50 American Citizens from all across the country, supposedly attended on very short notice?
I mean, you posted last year that you were devoted to having us Patriots share our skills and knowledge, and then you turn around, fall silent, and you no share.

Woody, sir, call it a hunch, but I seem to think that you are grossly ill prepared to file a law suit against the IRS. They will crush you before you have enough time to even tie your shoes.
You should first read and study the free “The Great IRS Hoax” book available for free at http://www.famguardian.org.
The last thing the Tax Honesty Movement needs, is to have yet another unprepared Sui Juris litigant such as yourself, waltz into court, and flub their way through, raising off point and incorrect legal arguments, and failing to get the best evidence admitted in their defense, only to lose the case and have even more bad case law on the books for corrupt judges to cite.
Do us all a favor and stay out of court until you learn more law, and you have read and studied more US Supreme Court decisions.

[post=”1989″][/post]rattler, you are mistaken. It was not the judge that you heard on the mp3, it was the Assistant US Attorney, Martin Shoemaker. The judge was not present during the deposition of Hansen.
What is so troubling, inter alia, is that Mr. Shoemaker must know, or should know, that Hansen has not committed any crime nor has he violated any enacted positive law or implementing regulation. Yet amazingly, the DOJ persists in their attempts to trample on Hansen's Constitutional Rights.
The persecution of Hansen is essentially about the DOJ trying to squash Hansen' 1st Amendment Right to free speech.
What is also disturbing is that Mr. Shoemaker, when he was sworn into the BAR and also when he became a US Government employee, seems to have forgotten that several times in his life he raised his right hand and swore a solemn oath to support, protect, and defend the federal Constitution.
When US Government employees routinely violate their oath of office to support, protect, and defend the USA Constitution, they set a very bad example for all Americans and such wanton disrespect for the Constitution and the rule of law is unconscionable and goes far beyond the pale.

What all of this evidence, when combined with the physical and video evidence of the attack on the Pentagon appears to prove, is that our Federal Government has not been truthful with the American People concerning the events on 9/11.
Second, it appears that the USG may have had a hand in planning and executing the 9/11 attacks. Which means the federal government may have intentionally murdered thousands of American Citizens to create a pretext to deploy troops to the Mideast region in an effort to secure access to oil.
What is telling, is just how much the mainstream print and broadcast media choose to ignore the growing mountain of evidence of the federal government's apparent involvement in the attack on 9/11.

I am very intrigued by the fact that prior to 9/11, apparently there were some fire drills in WTC towers which necessitated the shutting off of electrical power and thus disabling the CCTV security cameras. And, it is speculated that it was during these “drills” that detonation charges were planted in the WTC Towers.
