EDITORIAL: In the following short and insightful video, Noam Chomsky points out that all political terms have TWO meanings, like the dichotomy and equivocation used in the statutory term “United States”:
He says there are two contexts: POLITICAL and TECHNICAL. We refer to his use of “technical” on this website as STATUTORY or LEGAL. Nevertheless, he confirms everything we say about the abuse of language.
This information is important, because when judges use the POLITICAL context of a word in a LEGAL trial, they are violating the separation of powers doctrine by acting in a POLITICAL rather than LEGAL capacity. The Executive and Legislative branches are POLITICAL branches. The JUDICIAL branch is the only LEGAL branch, and it cannot operate in anything BUT a LEGAL, or what Chomsky calls “TECHNICAL” mode.

"Two things I request of You (Deprive me not before I die): Remove falsehood and lies far from me; Give me neither poverty nor riches— Feed me with the food allotted to me; Lest I be full and deny You, And say, “Who is the Lord?” Or lest I be poor and steal, And profane the name of my God."
[Prov. 30:7-9, Bible, NKJV]
