The following video tries to quote the scriptures out of context in order to justify and protect homosexuality:
What Does the Bible Say About Homosexuality (OFFSITE LINK) – Kristin Saylor & Jim O’Hanlon | TEDxEdgemontSchool
They quote the scripture about Sodom and Gomorrah but ignore the Levitial law on homosexuality, which says:
Leviticus 20:13 If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.

Does the Bible Require the Death Penalty for Homosexuality?
https://nikeinsights.famguardian.org/forums/topic/does-the-bible-require-the-death-penalty-for-homosexuality/The presenters claim that OTHERS are quoting scripture out of context, but THEY are the ones REALLY doing it by not STARTING their treatment with the FIRST reference to homosexuality in the Bible within the Levitical law.
The video quotes Ezekial 16:49 to imply that the reason Sodom and Gomorrah was destroyed was because they were not friendly to strangers or outsiders:
Look, this was the iniquity of your sister Sodom: She and her daughter had pride, fullness of food, and abundance of idleness; neither did she strengthen the hand of the poor and needy.
[Ezekial 16:49, Bible, NKJV]…but the video it didn’t apply that concept to the way that homosexuality or law enforcement treat Christians trying to obey the Bible. The above scripture implies that its WRONG to try to MAKE someone poor who isn’t poor. In the case of the baker who refused to bake a cake for a gay couple, the man was fined several thousand dollars and his business was threatened. When you try to destroy a man’s livelihood, you are attempting to assassinate him or her. Therefore, the government enforcers were trying to do to CHRISTIANS the very same thing that the Levitical law says should be done to homosexuals. The speakers accuse Christians of being hypocritical but they are the MOST hypocritical to try to implement the same approach towards Christians as the one they condemn in the bible that Christians should have towards homosexuals: Kill them or take away their livelihood, which is also an assassination attempt.
If they are going to put such a biased approach towards the subject, the least they could do is offer another speaker after them who is also a Priest like they and who takes the opposite position and critiques them, and to publish the point and counterpoint at the same time. But of course the only approach liberals can win at is to make their point and abuse the power of the state to silence and punish those who oppose their views.
The only way they can attack the issue WITHOUT quoting out of context as they accuse others of doing it to attack the validity of the Old Testament as a source of law. That approach is thoroughly rebutted in the following:
Laws of the Bible, Form #13.001
https://sedm.org/Litigation/09-Reference/LawsOfTheBible.pdfIt doesn’t surprise us to see the people wearing minister garb to add a false err of legitimacy to what they are saying, not does it surprise me that the female protagonist is Episcopalian. The Episcopalians are the most sexually liberal of all Protestant Churches.
